Initiatives in the House this November 2009 are reckless and unconstitutional.

I am not in support of a national health care plan. I pay enough taxes and pay enough money for my own healthcare and that of my son, I am done paying for other people that cannot pay for themselves BY CHOICE!! We are getting to the point where one is better off not working to support themselves, as it is more beneficial to just suck off everyone else. I CHOOSE TO WORK TO SUPPORT MY FAMILY AND I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR MY FAMILY'S MEDICAL INSURANCE AND I LIKE IT LIKE THIS. Most states have helathcare for those that need it. It is not for government to CONTROL!!!!

This Government can't even make Flu shots available. I do not support governments takeover of health care or any other private business. For one thing no one in congress or the senate could possibly have had or taken the time to read anything they are signing including the Economic Stimulus or this health care reform bill. Let me suggest that before You sign anything new into law, try reading the constitution first. Then Follow it!

I oppose further incursions into MY health care by MY government. If Congress and Barack Obama want t fuss around with health care, they should come up with a bi-partisan bill that makes private insurance coverage transportable among the states, and add STRONG protections therein against outrageous medical liability suits that are the MAIN source of soaring medical costs.

We the People do not want Government Health Care! Govenments main purpose--according to the Constitution of the United States of America--is Protection, Not Provision!

The current bills are not solving the problem. You need to address costs. Several steps you could take: real tort reform not pilots (some states have it already), allow insurance to be bought across state lines and address equal sharing of development costs across all developed nations and fix Medicare fraud now. Fixing Medicare fraud shouldn't take a new bill to do. Thank you, Lucy Barnhill

I oppose Government run health care. Please do not include a public option, co-op or other terms you plan on calling it. I oppose any kind of reform that gives more control to the government. Absolutely NO!

I am against abortion and should not be forced to pay for one whether directly or indirectly. I also don't see how they can say there won't be a fiscal impact when its going to cost over $9 billion dollars, if the government is supposed to be by the people and for the people, why aren't are leaders listening? Most people don't want it and we can't afford it. Also if the public option health care isn't good enough for the politicians why is it good enough for us? And the $2000 "fine" if you don't participate? Ridiculous.

I will point out what others will not mention. Included in this bill is millions in tax funding for abortion, Pelosi is trying to push through a reforandum to close all discussion on this topic. Millions of americans view this as morally and ethically wrong, INCLUDING millions of american DOCTORS. Our dollars will not only fund this but doctors will be fined for not complying with this act which goes against the hippocratic oath and the foundation of the medical field. So much is wrong with this bill it is impossible to list all the reasons my blood boils at the mention. My question is who is to gain from this bill? This is what we should be investigating. Why are democrats pushing so hard for a bill that no one wants? What kind of party kickbacks are involved or are they just interested in the ruining of America? Before we give government complete control of our lives consider the lessons history has taught us and look beyond the here, the now and the next year. I thought our declaration read "We the people of the United States" not we the politicians.

I reject the government takeover of yet another industry: health care. We need less government not more government and the current health care bills in the House and Senate would greatly expand government and undermine our rights. I also reject the current, secretive, back-room approach being employed by House and Senate Democratic leaders to push this bill through Congress with little or no real debate or public scrutiny. In addition, the costs of socialized health care will be staggering, even according to Obama Administration reports. With Americans facing economic tough times and double-digit unemployment, we cannot afford to expand government even more. Listen to the voice of middle-class Americans who are demanding you REJECT this mad dash toward socialized health care. Please know that I am carefully monitoring your actions regarding this bill.

I am totally against a complete overhaul of our health insurance in America. Our health care system needs to have some changes made to it, which should be done incrementally, building upon all of the good things about our current system. It is ridiculous listening to the Obama administration continue to say that this will not cost us anything, and will be deficit neutral. Our democracy is at serious risk right now, as the Republicans are being completely shut out of the process, and a majority of Americans are against this Bill.

I strongly oppose any attempt of government to expand their role or control of health care. I read the constitution and strongly encourage all elected officials to refamiliarize themselves with it and rediscover and respect the delineated limits of their mandate. John

As some one who lived in a foreign country under a socialist government with government run healthcare and saw first hand the care received by patients, I'm sending this message to say that it is not acceptable for Americans. We are headed down the wrong road with this healthcare bill and it will only lead to more problems at our expense. There are common sense alternatives to reform healthcare in this country without handing it over to our government. Please take action and sign this petition.

These socialists don't understand economics. This plan will hurt most people and help few. Jobs will be lost. Health care will be worse. This is just a terrible idea.

I am absolutely against the proposed national health care reform. We need LESS governement control in this country, not more - we need to reform the system but this hurried version is NOT the answer. Socialism is NOT American!

Our government is going toooo far. Obviously they want to control more money. Stop OBama's reform since it is not reform it is a takeover with no regard to the unborn lives and no regard to the seniors lives and more government deficit and control of our nation. Does Obama have his own agenda? What ever happened to Acorn and their fraud?? Is there any honesty in government anymore.

Please vote no on Health Care Reform Bill. We as Americans can and will make our own decisions regarding our health care. We don't want a health care plan that requires us to surrender our guns or be denied care. We as Americans don't want a bill that mandates us to buy the insurance, or be fined and jailed. We as Americans don't want a bill that lets the government decide what we can be treated for and when, and if our lives are worth saving. This is unconstitutional!!!!! We will not stand for it!

The biggest problem is the US cannot afford it. It will add 50 million uninsured and will flood the system. It will take six months to get an appointment. Any time the government gets involved it is a total disaster. Tons of paperwork.
