Say 'No' To The Return Of Fox Hunting

To say that fox hunting causes no harm is to deny that thousands of foxes are ripped to shreds in the name of sport every year...that millions of people throughout the world are horrified and ashamed that anyone could be capable of such disgrace and are heartrbroken whenever stories are spread of successful hunts and, of course, the intense pain and mourning of an orphaned fox cub. Who are we to cause such pain? Who is anyone? No one should have that power or right and this petition is especially designed so that we who oppose may gain our own power.
Why are we seen as intruders when they are the one's disturbing the peace of nature? Why are we always shown in a bad light when our arguments are based on love and compassion and theirs on blood-lust? Tradition is a meagre argument compared to life, and if the ban should be lifted I know that animal lovers everywhere will feel the intense pain of heartbreak.
They claim that this so-called 'sport' is not cruel...they actually have the nerve to laugh it off as if dying in complete terror, ripped to shreds by a pack of ravenous dogs is a peaceful way to go. I will not stand for it but I need your help to make absolutely certain that this vile 'sport' does not return to the British country. If you love the animals of this world and hate to see them treated so disrespectfully, sign this petition and write your own message to those who are in the position to kill or care.
This petition is aimed at the three main political parties in the running for the general election later this year. Labour who, are not in favour of the hunt. The Conservatives who promise to open up the ban to public vote should they be elected. And the Liberal Democrats who are mostly supportive of the ban.
Let these three parties know how you feel about fox hunting and we may be in with the chance to persuade all three against it. Please don't let the country be plagued by the disturbed, tortured screams of the foxes; help them, we can save them.
