No to transracial, transcultural including international adoptions

Adopting children of another race or ethnicity historically has not only been a emotionally dis-attachment but a misleading, mis informative and a psychological damage to the child and to the adult the they will once become. Many whites continue on adopting non-white children yet, keeping them around all whites eliminating, culture awareness and preserving the children cultural identity.

David Watts, a biracial social worker in New York who was raised by an adoptive white family, states that "It's a bad idea to put a black child in a white home.... I think it's impossible for someone of one culture to teach another culture". "You have to live it in order to absorb it."

The National Association of Black Social Workers (NABSW) has taken this stance, suggesting that interracial adoption is a form of "genocide" and that "black children in white homes are cut off from the healthy development of themselves as black people."

There must be options besides the destruction that is put on melaninated children in the system. More effort for same culture parenting must be met or leave the child. No one should gain a child because their status, class or wealth. All this means nothing to a melanin child holding an adult whites hand.

"We the undersigned"  believe There must be other options besides the destruction that is put on melaninated children in the system when going to white, non-melanin homes. More effort for same culture parenting must be met. Adopting children of another race or ethnicity historically has not only been a emotionally dis-attachment but a misleading, mis informative and a psychological damage to the child and to the adult the they will once become. Help stop this evolving self hate of generations to come.

Some of the solutions we propose, only allow transracial and transcultural adoptions, including overseas, in homes where atleast one of the parents in the home are of similiar background or efforts are made to genuinely having that child around other Melanin cultures. If this is not the case, the child should remain around their own environment where reflections mirrors them rather than having them in a home where they can't even see themselves in.
