Operating Authority for ATX Golf Cart Shuttle Service

Target:
Austin City Council
Sponsored by:
This is a petition that supports the legalization and operation of the golf cart shuttle service in the dowtown and surrounding areas of Austin.  We are asking the Austin City Council to pass the ordinance that gives golf carts the authority to operate.  We are also asking that the city stop harassing the shuttle service.

It would be great to have more options in Austin for low carbon emitting public transportation.

I love visiting Austin. It is so beautiful and clean. I think it would be in everyone interest to support such an innovated idea. Maybe the rest of the U.S. would follow.

I am very surprised to hear that competition in the market place is controlled and not welcomed. It sounds like such a sound idea and creative that. I would be very surprised and disenchanted to find out that our leaders are influenced by lobbyist and would vote away from natural market place growth and competition. They represent all the people and not just the a few trying to insist on their little area of dominance without being willing to compete.
