By signing this petition you denounce Oprah's unfair treatment by denying Sarah Palin access to the Oprah Show. You also demand Oprah have Sarah Palin on the Oprah show before a single vote is cast.
It was announced by the Drudge Report that Oprah and some of her staff do not want Sarah Palin on the Oprah Show. Oprah responded to the article that she does not want to use her show as a political platform when she's already hosted Barack Obama multiple times on her show in addition to endorsing Obama.
Early voting starts before October 15th.

I've totally lost respect for Oprah due to her unwillingness to have a woman who has achieved so much on her show.

OPRAH IS ONE OF THE MOST PREJUDICE people OUT THERE...CANT STAND HER OR HER CRAPPY SHOW.... BLAH BLAH "I ONLY SUPPORT AFRICAN AMERICANS... shes worth billlllllions of dollars and every day goes on tv begging for americans (WHITE ESPECIALLY) to pay for "HER", hence "HER" children of the world wheresas she builds a school in Africa, ONLY FOR BLACKS which is full of child molestors and lesbian teachers harassing their students. LMFAO! Oprah sucks as a human being and for her to go against PALIN of all people..... shes a down right B****. She may be allowed to have whoever she'd like on her show, but she still should have some sort of respect for others that she conitnously preaches on her half rated show....
**and as my husband stated... "SHE NEEDS TO PICK A F****ING WEIGHT AND STAY WITH IT! lol

I think it's sad that Oprah plays politics and *says* it's not so. I respect and say that she can do whatever she wants with her show, but why doesn't she just admit, "Not only amd I an Obama supporter, I willy ONLY do things that will help him and hurt McCain/Palin, regardless of what anyone else says."
I respect Oprah to do whatever she wants, and then for her viewers to go away and not buy products. On the other hand, this is b/c I am a casual viewer. For long time viewers, I hope Oprah honors their wishes, and if not, the viewers have a responsibility to respectfully resign from viewership.
It's the only way MSM will listen - by dropped ratings and income.
As for me and my house, we've pretty much turned all tv off which is Obama network.
PETITIONER: PLease help also advertise this petition, woudl really appreciate it!

Although I would love to hear what Sarah Pain has to say, (to which is evident NOTHING!), I feel it is Oprah's right as a UNITED STATES CITIZEN to host whoever she would like and whenever she would like to have them on HER show. Some things a best left unsaid, or for lack of better words, "If you can't say anything nice, say nothing at all". Ms. Pain extremely partisan attitude simply does not interest Oprah.

I am a huge fan of Oprah and think she is being a little politically biased right now. She should have Sarah Palin on her show to show that she cares about all Americans, not just Democrats!

All of the above, but most of all political agenda and then race.
I must say we don't want to watch Oprah any more; she doesn't seem so loving and benigh any more. I am afraid she thinks she is God.

Oprah in making a clear choice ....prochoice,huh? to deprive millions of people the ability to see Sarah Palin in the decades old Oprah style interview. You go girl, lets see who tanks faster...Oprah or Obama.

Oprah made her show political by endorsing Obama and catering to his wife Michelle. She is the standard for successful women - come on Oprah, you're better than this.
Give your viewers the respect they deserve by inviting Sarah Palin on.
On second thought, do what you want - it's your show and when you don't have her on you will let American women know what your standard of "fairness" is.

I have always had great respect for Oprah. However, I am surprised that she will not allow this strong woman to come on her show. She is free to endorse whomever she likes for president. However, she should allow Sarah Palin to express her views as well.

# 27:

Oprah is putting race over gender. People may say that it is Oprah's show, but it really is the audiences' show - if no one watches, I guarantee you there will be no Oprah show. Her audience is 75% female and she is for equality? Doesn't want to use her show as a political platform - too late, she already did. Oprah needs to get off her thrown, show the respect to Palin - woman to woman. She brags she helped get Obama 1,000,000 votes. Why is she afraid of Palin?

It is unbalanced to feature Barack Obama numberous times on the show and not to allow Sarah Palin the same amount of airplay. There is an under-running agenda here...whether it is that of Oprah and the producers or Oprah herself, I don't know. I don't think they are blatantly discriminative based on political party, gender or race...but I do think it's about presenting a certain image to the public while denying another to represent themselves, less still be presented as a strong and worthy candidate.

I thought you were better than this, and you are showing the true side of you..Are you a racist? Certainly you know that women helped get you where you are...What a shame you are so afraid of putting Palin on your show....give your viewers what they deserve, a fair look at both sides......Not a racist, biased, one sided view.....SHAME ON YOU......SHAME ON YOU

It's political, racial and sexist all the things she claims to be against. She wants to see a Black Man in the White House before a White Woman, that is what I honestly believe and America won't forget this!

Oprah has gotten such a big head that she doesn't care what her viewers want.
It's her show and nobody is going to tell her what to do.
Well lets see what happens when half her viewers stop tuning in and they start boycoting her sponsors' products.

The Show is called Oprah because it is her show. BE CAREFULl WHAT YOU WISH FOR. Palin would have to answer a fricking question. She already gaffed on the Fannie Mae situation. She is clueless and isn't fit to lead. Doesn't matter if a man or a women. DO YOU WANT BINDEN ON OPRAH ALSO?

You are also lecturing us on facing our fears, but the only reason that you have for not letting Palin on your show is your fear that she might help the candidate that you are backing. It is time for you to practice what you preach. Until you do, I won't be watching your show or the shows that you produce including Dr. Phil & Rachel Ray (who I love!!!!)

Oprah: Let's get with the program! Sarah is obviously a hit in this country. You denying her access to your show creates the impression that you have no tolerance for people that have different points of view. If that is true then deny her access and watch your ratings and credibility slip into oblivion!!!!!!

It seems clear to me that Oprah's racist view have finally lost their thin shroud been put on public display. This should have been clear in her endorsement of a candidate with zero qualifications for the office he is running for. Chicago style politics will not be denied.

It is definitely a political/race issue - Oprah is siding w/ Obama bc she wants him elected - if Obama had picked Hillary as his VP - dontcha think O would have had Hillary on the day after she was picked?!?! Of course she would have! The only reason O won't have Sarah Palin on is bc she is a conservative!! Kind of funny - since, I would guess that a majority of O's (former) supporters are conservatives!

I think it's all of the above. I also think Mizz O is so afraid that Gov. Palin will show up her choirboy, Mister O, that she won't have her on. This has stirred up quite a lot of controversy, but good that the "true O" has surfaced!

This is not a Black vs. White, or Democrat vs. Republican issue. This is a Free Speech vs. Hollywood Special Interest issue. I hope that Oprah reconsiders!
