Dear Mr President:
We, the undersigned, protest the bill that the Senate voted on recently which would allow illegal aliens to access our Social Security. We demand that you and all Congressional representatives require citizenship as a pre-requisite for social services in the United States .
We further demand that there not be any amnesty given to illegals, NO free services, no funding, no payments to and for illegal immigrants.
We are fed up with the lack of action about this matter and are tired of paying for services to illegals.

Contrary to what some people believe, Illegals do not pay into the Social Security system because they have no viable ID. Some have stolen the ID's and Social Security numbers of U.S. Citizens and those U.S. taxpayers have had difficult times restoring their identity and their credit. Like so many people I've been working my whole adult life, put into Social Security for over 30 years and am entitled to my benefits when the time comes. If an illegal alien wants to do the same I think they should become citizens, work and put into the system like we do.

No Social Security for anyone who is not a legal citizen of the United States of America. These illegals need to be deported and their children do not deserve citizenship! What nerve to parade down our streets with their countries flags and our Government did nothing! My Social Security check doesn't always cover rent, electric, gas, phone, meds, food, car insurance...I can't afford home owners or life insurance. I have Medicare and Medicaid and sometimes must chose between healthier food choices and medications (a bag of generic chips is cheaper than a head of lettuce). Before offering to give Social Security money to ileegals, perhaps consider increasing the current legal recipients checks to a realistic amount. $600-$800/mo is not enough.

It is impossible for me to live on my social security benefits...rent, electric, phone (required because of medical problems), medical bills, medication costs...eat it all up...nothing left for other necessary items such as toilet paper, foods, etc.

My husband and I paid social security tax all our working lives. Now ONLY because he is a quadriplegic and needs attendant care I have to pay back EVERY penny the government pays to asist us with the cost! Yet someone who violates Federal law and commits a crime against the American people gets it all for free and NEVER has to pay it back?!!! We don't have enough money in social Security for the American people but there is plenty for federal criminals? So Congress says.

This is absolutely UNFAIR!!! We work hard for our money. We pay into this fund to secure our future. Undocumented illegals also work hard for their money, but did not pay into the fund! This is for us! President Bush will seal our fate by putting us working-class tax payers between a rock and a hard place later in life. This is news to me... and if true, totally unacceptable! I am only 51, but at this age, I am nearing the time of Social Security in the not too distant future...
