OUR RESPONSIBILITY: More than Retribution

  • by: S T Andersen
  • recipient: Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of The House, U.S. Congress
i felt compelled to compose this petition as a advocat for human rights on behalf of the world community that requires a realistic balance of power.
to whom it may concern:

we the undersigned citizens of our respective countries
have chosen to act as diplomatic representatives of
our smaller communities and larger interest groups.

as victims, descendants witnesses of discrimination and ethnic cleansing
we have come together to express
the need for a louder voice of expression
to protect defend the human rights violations
that have been authorized and are continuously violated
by the leaders of the United States Government.

as a superpower
the United States Government is the only power
in history to use nuclear weapons versus diplomacy
in a direct act of aggression.

because of America's nuclear bombing of
Nagasaki Hiroshima during World War II
the neighbouring country of New Zealand fought successfully
to declare their land territory a nuclear-free zone
after seeing the afterglow left behind
by America's atomic wrath.

under George W. Bush's direction, the U.S. has become
known for offensive excessive use of militaristic force in
the Middle Eastern holy lands beyond (e.g. prisons) with

1. a clear disregard and misunderstanding
of local custom, religious beliefs and indigenous culture

2. lack of preparation

3. lack of probable cause (questionable pretenses that have not been confirmed by information supported by fact)

the clear fact of the matter is:

without reasonable cause the effect of the U.S.'s involvement
in the Middle East has overall has been detrimental to the military,
world communities and our international image as a whole.

America's leaders have left multiple residual effects on our world.
some of these actions have crippled other nations, reflecting back on us;
the United States of America is not a "true" super power.
our position in World War II made us very confident that
we could save the world.

Since the United States of America's interference in the Middle East
our potential to be respected an objective participant
for diplomacy wears a tremendous scar
on an international level.

due to the extremely violent nature of our military presence,
the safety work environment of America's military
men, women and their families was unjustly
jeopardized in the most hostile manner,
and the world community has suffered unnecessary loss.

the use of hazardous materials in the workplace of military workers has been proven to biologically affect the DNA of those who come into contact with such materials. this includes those who
transport manufacture such materials which will
continue to hurt generations of future nations.

we are calling for immediate movement towards ending the
exposure of the U.S. Military and all combatants to such
hazardous hostile work environments. with the assistance of diplomatic guides,

we feel that the United States of America as one of the top
SUPERPOWERS OF THE WORLD would be more effective on the WORLD STAGE if there was a global transition to talks instead of the perpetuation
of terror through bullets versus bonding.

The return of soldiers should commence no later than the next International Peace Day (International Day of Peace) 21 of September 2007. If this deadline is not met, we demand an Illegal Combat Retribution Fund established similar to sums paid to American citizens wrongly imprisoned by the U.S. Government for being of Japanese decent during World War II hysteria. we demand this payment in addition to standard pensions for soldiers families who lost their lives limbs for doing their job to the best of their ability while being subjected to a hostile work environment under illegal pretenses.

"In the end, man is not entirely guilty - he did not start history. Nor is he wholly innocent - he continues it".
