To clean up 1/2 million cubic yards of trash in the San Diego rivers, creeks and storm drains. Throughout the last twenty five years and then some, any and everybody without trash service has dumped there kitchen, garrage and commercial trash off the beaten paths of San Diego. I am a third generation foundation driller and have installed bridges over river and canyon crossings for twenty five years from San Diego to Washington state. I have noticed everything from old cars, washers, dryers, refrigerators, kitchen trash and everything you can think of dumped in our rivers, creeks and canyons. Somthing needs to be done! In March 2009 I started with a grant app, FON # ARRA-FWS-09-010, CFDA# 15.565 Recovery Funds Habitat Enhancement Restoration and Improvement Act. (A fish and wildlife partner) and I was refused at the last minute due to not having two interns involved with the partnership, what a shame. I have more than 250 photos of the pollutants/human trash that is and has affected our coastal and inland wildlife and has become a public health risk. Potentially harmful viruses and bacteria are now found in our coastal waters. Please feel free to call or e-mail for more info, thanks...
