Garden Valley Collegiate is bursting at the seams with up to 1100 students cramped into a school originally build for 500 and expanded to serve up to 700 students. We are requesting the Manitoba Government to relieve this situation with a concrete plan to build an additional high school in Winkler, Manitoba within the foreseeable future.

As a Family Member of collectively 10 Teachers and Professors; overcrowding I know, is horrible because it's stiffling and prevents children from really learning. Overcrowding cheats students of a decent education and will only promote ignorance and violence down the road. |
