Sarah Palin flashes the American Sign Language gesture for

Gov. Palin: Sell Your Campaign Clothes for Charity

Target:
Gov. Sarah Palin
News is breaking that Gov. Sarah Palin received approximately $150,000 in clothing and other personal goods from top-line stores such as Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.  This amounts to more than triple the United States median yearly income.  This is outrageous and offensive to working people.

We, the undersigned, petition Sarah Palin to make amends by selling on eBay the personal use goods that she and her family have been given with campaign contribution.  These auctions should start no later than midnight, November 5th, 2008 (Alaska time), regardless of the outcome of the election.  ALL proceeds from the auctions should go to one or more non-partisan, preferably secular charities - ideally one that helps pregnant teens or special needs children since she has reduced funding to both types of organizations as governor.

Sarah Palin, you fraud, you are a millionaire and can buy your own overly expensive clothes rather than sticking the Republican Campaign with the bill. Stop pretending that you are one of the ordinary working class American citizens. You are not one of us !

THIS IS JUST ANOTHER MISUSE OF TAX PAYERS MONEY BY THE INHUMAN GOVERNMENT WHO TAKES MORE THAN NEEDED,PALIN SHOULD BUY HER OWN CLOTHES AS THE REST OF US HAVE TO,WHY ARE GOVERNMENTS ABOVE THE LAW WITH EVERYTHING AND WHY DO THEY GET EVERYTHING FOR FREE PLUS THERE MASSIVE WAGES AND BONUSES AND EXPENSE ACCOUNTS,MAKE GOVERNMENTS PAY FOR WHAT THEY GET AND NOT THE TAX PAYERS OR POOR,AND UNTIL POWER IS RETURNED TO THE PEOPLE THEN CORRUPTION WILL NEVER STOP AT THE TOP.

While agree that these clothes should be auctioned I do not agree with selling them on ebay as I do not agree with the business ethics of ebay who contribute to the selling of animals and animal parts.

I agree with T. Faulkner below me. Accepting/buying those clothes is just hypocritical.

How gauche! Yes, sell those clothes and the money goes to all the environmental groups working to save all the majestic animals of Alaska that you want killed for your own mean, inhumane enjoyment. We are to honor Mother Nature, not destroy HER!

Unreal that Palin would spend/accept clothes costing that much while she talks about your average 'Joe' and soccer moms, many of whom are losing their jobs.

A family once lived in a nice cozy home that they bought with a mortgage for $150,000. Now they have to watch that $150K parade around on Sarah Palin's back. What a slap in the face. Governor, please step up to the plate and do something positive with your recent good fortune.
