Palm Pre for Verizon

I have been with Verizon(Airtouch-US WEST) since 1988...Brick phone era....always great customer service. I have also used palm devises for 15 years..lll,lllx,V,Vx,Treo 600,650 and 700 and of course mixed the two entities with the Treo. I love the Palm OS over the others. I am the perfect Palm Pre user. Why not get it? I have heard others complain about other devices systems and carriers networks after they enjoyed the palm devces for years, albeit they did'nt stick with Verizon.

I love Palm Pre but the only provider that doesn't suck worse than hell is Verizon so I'm only willing to go with them. But the moment they started selling Pre I'd buy it.

After using my daughters Palm Pre on Sprint, I have been waiting for it to come to Verizon. I presently have a Palm Pro with no service contract. If Verison does not get the Pre soon, I will start looking around. I really like the network, but I also like the Pre.

I have been a loyal Verizon customer for ten years. I even passed on the whole iPhone revolution because I didn't want to switch to AT & T.......However, I love the Palm Pre so much, I almost switched to Sprint when it came out in June. The only thing that stopped me whas news that Verizon was going to get it once Sprints exclusivity contract runs out (which should be December 6, 2009).....If Verizon does not carry the Palm Pre, I am switching to Sprint. PLEASE BRING THE PALM PRE TO VERIZON!!!!

As an alltel client soon to be a full blown Verizon client, my plan is up in 6 months. I currently run a palm755p and want to get the pre when my upgrade option is available. I will stay with Verizon if the pre is available. I will have to think very carefully if it does not. Love the network, not the current phones. Please push to get the pre!

I have been waiting for a business phone replacement for my Treo with a decent operating system and scientific apps. I don't like the Blackberrys with there tiny screen and the Storm is a waist with it's impossible to text on touch screen. I was I was willing to wait until January for the Pre on Verizon but if all I can get is Sprint I will switch to ATandT and get an I phone. Yuck!

I've been a verizon customer for years with my Treo 650 and now the 755P. I am waiting patiently for an annoucement for the Palm Pre on Verizon. I rather not switch to Sprint but if my smartphone of choice isn't announced and confirmed soon I will have to switch providers.

Verizon has the reputation for the best wireless coverage but their smartphone device menu is very limited. I have been waiting to switch to Verizon for a long time but they have not offered me a viable smartphone as yet. I urge the decision makers at Verizon to consider offering the Palm Pre device. It's the best phone out there. If you are worried about bad sales of this phone at Sprint, it's because that carrier has poor coverage and customer service. I am willing to bet that if the Pre comes to Verizon they will see a significant number of disgruntled AT&T iPhone owners switch over!

I have been with Verizon for a while now and am very pleased with their service. I now have the Blackberry storm that I am not content with at all. I heard that the Pre will be available either November of 2009 or latest, January of 2010. Today 09/30/09, I found out that Verizon may be nixing the Pre from their line up all together because the sales weren't that great for Sprint. The reason why the sales weren't that great, was because Sprint's service isn't that good! Verizon users are not going to get worse coverage just for a phone. But I know plenty of people that want the Pre that have Verizon service. Please Verizon, be smart about this, get the Pre and get your sales that Sprint was unable to attain.

I have had Sprint for years and was just getting ready to buy the Pre when we moved and I get terrible coverage now. I was going to switch to Verizon but not only do you not offer the Pre, but now I hear you may never offer it? My Verizon contract has almost expired, if Verizon decides to not carry the Pre, I will switch to Sprint. Please make the right choice here, and give us more options beyond just the iPhone.

Although I like Verizon's coverage and network, the types of handhelds/smartphones offered are dated and not state of the art. Verizon offers no phone to adequately compete with iPhones. It would seem offering the Palm Pre would be a perfect opportunity for Verizon to strengthen its customer base. I fear I may leave Verizon soon if this is not remedied soon. My contract has already expired. The clock is ticking...

I'm tied to Palm operating system because of all the calendar/contact/misc info that I have on my present Treo on Verizon, which is very long in the tooth (and losing coverage since it's on the analog network). I love Palm, the ability to sync with my PC, and Verizon! I would love to see the Pre on Verizon, it would mean I could continue the decade of service I have had with Verizon and be able to truly enjoy my phone. Thanks for your consideration.

Richard C Mastbrook - I have been using Palm since before it was in a phone. I download my business info on to my computer and use it for billing. I don't want to have to change my whole system of record keeping and billing. I have years of this on my computer for reference, etc. I'm hanging on to my 700p as long as it lasts, until the Pre comes to Verizon.
