The Parkchester Early learning Center provides children with head start and summer programs for lower income and working families. We are asking that the Department of Health expedite the proper paper work to issue the necessary license in order to avoid closing the school for an indefinite amount of time. We as parents rely greatly on the educational and nurturing services that the school provides. In the meantime it is with great despair that we look for alternative child care and pray that you consider the signatures on this petition in pushing the process as quickly as possible.
So many of us parents work and completely rely on the services of the school to keep our children safe and educated. The Parkchester Early Learning Center is one of few daycare centers in this area and is greatly needed. We have only until July 3rd when the doors will be closed until further notice leaving parents to fend for themselves in finding safe, affordable and convenient child care
