• Euthanasia is just wrong when it comes to healthy animals that have been displaced for one reason or another.
  This petition is an attempt to make the right people see this and stop all the senseless killing. Animal Cruelty is a crime and the killing of an animal in good health is a form of animal cruelty eventhough it is painless.
  With the proper government and taxpayer backing the shelters can make the necessary purchases such as medicine/vaccine, food, toys, overhead expenses etc. to extend the time until a loving home is found for all the displaced animals.

Camarillo, CA - Patsy is so thin that her head has that sunken look indicative of a body depleted of fat reserves.

Her golden eyes appear haunted.

Are those eyes hopeful? Or are they full of wonder over what her life has been?

Are her eyes pleading for kindness?

Do they reflect little bits of all these things?

It is apparent that Patsy's life has been difficult, but her personality has not been destroyed by her harsh life.

The kind, loving dog that she was born has not disappeared.

Shelter volunteers have been pleading for someone to notice Patsy. They have been begging for a rescue group to pull this thin, beleaguered dog to safety.

Yesterday, she was on the euthanasia list. An advocate was able to buy her 24 hours of safety.

24 short hours...

This is a plea for Patsy's life.

The shelter volunteers who are pleading for Patsy's life shared this about her personality,

she is so sweet, very submissive, and grateful for any attention... She will roll over as you approach her, and adores her tummy rubbed. She loves to crawl into your lap, just a sweet baby.

A sweet, submissive baby who wants to cuddle. Patsy has no other means to plead for her own life - right now, her fate is completely beyond her control.
