Dear fellow Singaporeans
With the growing trend of Stomping going around, it has become increasingly convenient for people to invade the privacy of others, ridicule each other and accuse each other with the simple click of a button.
Let us work together to stop this cycle and prevent any futher hurt and stress for the victims of Stomping.
Through this petition, we would like to request that the Webmasters of Stomp to EITHER
1. Moderate all entries/photos*
2. Moderate all photos sumbitted by fellow stompers by blurring the images of all humans involved in full*
3. Take down all sections/categories that allow users to post freely*
*(E.g Under Singapore Seen and its categories)
Please do imagine dear singaporeans the hurt and pain that you would feel should YOU or any of your loved ones fall victim by having clear images posted up. It is understandable if some would feel the need to bring up some issues to discuss about BUT we should practice some sense of respect towards each other. This is not a perfect world and nobody is perfect. We can try to make an example of certain events or situations that happened BUT please try to do it with some sense of respect and maturity.
Victims might be greatly effected or even depressed. At the height of emotions or depression, we can only imagine what some victims might do and go through.
As much as some matters could be brought to our attention through Stomping, lets leave the punishing to the relevant authorities.
Please help us in spreading this petition. We are sure that everyone value their privacy. So lets get it back.
NOTE: We are aiming for about 1000 signatures before sending it to the Webmasters and also to the local newspapers. Help spread the word!! =)
