Please Do Not Kill Daisy because of her Breed

Target:
Judge

Daisy is a beautiful young dog. She is a pitbull. She is neither vicious nor violent. She is simply unfortunate. She lives in an area where there is legislation regulating her breed. Her owner chose to not follow the rules and regulations and now Daisy's life is in jeopardy. In the area where Daisy lives all pitbulls must be muzzled in public and spayed or neutered. Daisy was neither at the time of an unfortunate incident.

While her owner was inside a building, Daisy was left with a child outside. The child apprently tied her up to something, from which she broke free and while loose, she jumped on an elderly woman, injuring the woman. She did not bite, she simply did what many exuberant puppies would and jumped up on the woman.

Daisy did not do jump out of anger or violence. She was simply being a puppy. She needs to be rehomed to a place where she will not be left unattended and have another unfortunate incident. There have been offers by loving and responsible people to adopt her.

Please sign so thatthe powers that be will release her to someone who can care for her as responsibly as she deserves. She deserves another chance. She is not violent or vicious. She is a playful pup, and with competent supervision, she would never have another incident like that. Please, allow Daisy a chance to live out her natural life somewhere that BSL doesn't restrict her breed and with someone who will care for her properly and protect her from situations like the one she is in now. Give Daisy another chance!!

Our governments need to wise up and crack down on the losers who mistreat their dogs and make them dangerous. Innocent, happy dogs like Daisy should not die because of public ignorance.

There is nothing wrong with Terrier breeds its the owners who are to blame. Pits just get the spotlight there are other breeds of dogs who bite more than pits , but you just dton hear about them, for example Large Poodles are nasty, and Yellow Labs can be very mean. But you only hear about pits. Its the people who own these very strong dogs who train them to be mean. You can train a Pug to be mean and bit. Its the Owners Not the dogs. I would like to write a long story but don't know where to start.. the law needs to change! Any dog with a good handler is a good dog and by the way... Daisy did nothing wrong! If this would've been a poodle.. everyone would have been laughing and thinking it was funny and silly.. (exept for the broken hip of course.. ) grrrrr

Can we stop this madness concerning Pitbulls? Everyone wants to take a 'paintbrush' and label the entire breed as vicious. They need to direct their attention to bad owners not the breed.

I have a pitbull myself and they are great dogs. I have 3 kids and my dog is great with my kids. My dog is now 4 years old. She loves people. The breed should not be punished..the owners need to be punished.

I feel what they are putting this poor qnimal through is very UNFAIR, anyone in there right mind should never approch an animal that is alone proctecting a Child dont blame the animal, its the people that need to be trained! God luck and god bless you and your pet, that breed always gets a bad rap if its soposed to be such a couragous breed why then dont the police use them !!

I have a pitbull and she's NEVER attacked anyone, unless someone tried to hit me, but then she did it to defend me which is totally a different story... All dogs protect their owners. Just because some people train them to kill doesn't mean they're born to kill. The people who do that are the ones who needs to be taken action against, not the dogs.

This dog simply had the misfortune of winding up with an irresponsible owner, she doesn't deserve to be killed! Please place her with an owner who knows how to properly take care of a dog like this.
