Please Help protect our community at Care2!

Please reconsider your stance on silencing victims of abuse and stalkers on Care2 and those that advocate against such abuses.

Men and Women around Care2 have fallen victim to online abusers and stalkers. Many of us have spoken out, only to be told we must be silent about such abuses.
Your reposnses always mention trolls, trolls are pests, We do agree, but abusers and stalkers are criminals.

It has been stated that if we speak out, if we mention names of these abusers/stalkers in our groups to warn other members, our posts will be censored, our groups will be at risk of being deleted and we will
be at risk of being suspended or banned from the site.
Care2 says it is better to just ignore the abusers.

We understand that Care2 Tech., and Customer Support says they are working on this issue, but the more they work on it, it seems the only ones receiving any repercussions are the victims of abuse. While the known abusers are free to roam the site!

We request Care2 stop punishing the victims and rid the site of the predators & abusers.

We came to Care2 because it was a great social activist site.

We would like to remain for the same reason.

We respectfully ask you to reconsider your choice of actions on this matter.

Allow us our freedom of speech within our groups, blogs and such, so that we may prevent other's from falling prey to these perpetrators.

Silencing the victims, only protects the perpetrators,
allows them to continue abusing the women of Care2,
and re-victimizes the victims of these abuses.

Give us the right to protect ourselves and our community.

Exposing the abusers/stalkers is the only way to end abuse.

Have a more open line of communication between Care2 Support Staff and Care2 members on this issue, so that we may work together on preventing further abuses.

We also need to let everyone know that we as a whole community CARE and will not tollerate abusers and stalkers!

Sincerely,
