We do understand that financial aspects might well be in the way, yet wherever there is a problem, solutions exist. The same goes for any other missing person, and money should never be an issue. Surely Europe can contribute in funds towards the re-opening of Madeleine McCann's Case, or even take it under its own wing. Perhaps this case can even lead to a new legacy concerning any missing person in the world.
Meanwhile a Child is MISSING, and her case is frozen, blocked, closed, shelved.

Re-open the case - there are too many unanswered questions and the Portuguese Police should be allowed to continue their investigation.
I first heard about Maddy on TV many years ago when I was in junior high. It still haunts me to this day, we must find out what happened and punished the people responsible!
If one of my children had disappeared. Whether I was under suspicion or not. I would co-operate fully with any investigation and would actively seek all the help I could get to find my child. Please re-open this case

It appears to me that the parents and their friends have conspired to derail the official investigations and have spent a huge amount of money which was donated by the public to search on legal assistance to protect their own reputations. It's time to re-open an official investigation.
Dr. Katherine Zacharias Gaspar told Leicestershire Police on May, 16, 2007, [report was only sent to the PJ on 24 October 2007] that she and her husband were friends of the McCanns and went on holiday with them and the Paynes in September 2005. During this holiday an incident stuck in her mind. "I was sitting between Gerry and David and I think both were talking about Madeleine (...). I remember David saying something to Gerry about "she", meaning Madeleine 'would do this'. While he mentioned the word 'this', David was doing the action of sucking one of his fingers, pushing it in and out of his mouth, while with his other hand he was doing a circle around his nipple (...). I remember being shocked by that."
This case should not remain abandoned and left as 'unsolvable' as there are many questions which have not been answered, especially by the parents.
Only way to find the truth -- re-open the case
I think it is time that Dr.Gaspars statement about David Payne and her concerns with regards to Paedophilia was published in the British Press. This is the ONLY reason the Mccanns want Amarals book banned.

This whole case needs looking into again as it seems to me that the parents and their friends have been economical with the truth regarding what happened the night Madeleine went missing.
Why is it left to us to ask for the case to reopen, SHAME ON ON YOU KATE & GERRY MCCANN.
It is intolerable that the investigation into this lamentable disappearance of a young child has been allowed to stall. The child's parents and their associates ( the Tapas 7 ) appear to have withheld the truth from the authorities from the very beginning and to this day are refusing to take part in a reconstruction of the events that took place at the Ocean Club, Praia da Luz on the 3rd of May 2007. Please, do the right thing and have the case re-opened.
Why were the 40 odd questions not answered by Kate? Why did the Tapas 9 refuse to go back and do a reconstuction of that night? Why so many lies? Dogs are 100% infallible why was their evidence rubbished? Cadaver fluid matching Madeleines in a car hired 24 days after the murder by the parents, what gives there? Nappies, not!!! The fund needs investigating too. As does David Paynes and Gerrys behaviour towards small children noted by the Gaspars. If they want to help find the wee girl why do they not ask to get the case opened up again? This needs to be sorted for the British legal system to be trusted ? Again?

If I was ever to leave my children to dine and drink at their age, I should be in prison. So should they!
This case needs a thorough review and all concerned should be seriously questioned. The circumstantial and forensic evidence in this case is substantial and compelling and the behaviour of the parents and their friends is extremely suspicious. In my opinion, the whole peculiar affair reeks of corruption and indicates a full-scale cover-up by the British government who for some strange, probably sinister reason have obstructed the Portuguese investigation. Scotland Yard should work with the PJ to expose the lies, uncover the truth and bring those responsible to justice.

They must be brought to justice and the British Government should STOP covering up for them. The Portugese police are correct and there is a smear campaign against the. At the very least charge them with child neglect and remove the twins to a safe environment
It is vital to re-open this case. There is a gross injustice that the PJ had this case prematurely closed down thru political pressure from the Uk. The parents must be brought to justice.
This case really must be re-opened and Madeleine's parents brought to justice for their part in her disappearance.
This child deserves justice and the truth needs to be established. There is evidence that a human cadaver was present in the apartment and that line of enquiry should be followed up and thoroughly investigated. These parents left a three year old child and two babies unsupervised in an unlocked apartment, so at the very least they should be brought to justice for negligence. I've no doubt that if they belonged to a lower social class, they would have been locked up long ago.
Yes I believe the investigation should be re-opened. There are two many holes, and the McCanns should still be brought to trial for neglect. A mother who leaves her children alone all under the age of 5 to go out to eat, in a world thats riddled with pedeophiles is guilty of neglect. There is evidence the little girl died in the apartment, so why is it not being thoroughly investigated. What are we British trying to cover up. Ineptitude. Release the book, what the McCann's afraid, everyone should have a voice. They have been shouting long enough, people FORGET, if they had not neglected Madelaine, she would have been alive today, so guilty by neglect.
Charge the parents with her death, and bring them to justice. Police forces in both the UK and portugal have concluded that she died in the apartment, now it is the turn of the courts. Power to the people, not the Mccanns.

From minute one these two came over as liars. Their body language alone spoke volumes of guilt. At the very least they should have been charged with child abuse and endangerment. Why were British politicians protecting them? Why was SKY News so supportive without all the facts? It stank like a rotting cadaver from the start.

Rather than the McCanns always rushing to litigation when anyone suggests that Madeleine may NOT have been abducted. Is it not time for some answers to the various questions we all have. The investigators that the McCanns have employed are totally inept for the job. The Spanish Agency had NO experience in finding missing children but they were chosen to search for Madeleine.! Unlike their highly professional public relations agent and lawyers who have been employed to protect the McCann's reputation, these keystone cops have been useless. The only people who can find out what happened to Madeleine McCann are the REAL POLICE not pretend ones! Re-open the case, co-operate with the police FULLY and find Madeleilne, or at least find out what happend to her on May 3rd. She deserved to be protected and cared for, not left alone in an open holiday apartment while her parents were out drinking and enjoying themselves in a Tapas Restaurant!!

It is a shameful disgrace that this case was so badly mishandled and then closed, not to mention the political interference and censorship etc surrounding this case. There are SO many questions unanswered still, and too much hard evidence has been repeatedly brushed under the carpet. Why?? No matter what lies have been told, what cover-ups concocted, whatever 'spin' has been presente to the public about Maddie's case, it would behove those responsible for her 'disappearance' and also ALL those who are party to the facts of what really happened to Maddie, to understand one thing... that the Truth ALWAYS comes out in the end. The Justice system should serve its sole purpose and uphold / serve JUSTICE. Put a stop to this farce and sham charade, and do the right thing... bring justice to bear and let the truth out into the light.. for Maddie and also the others like her around the world.
