Give us an excuse!

Pledge to Divest Junkmailer Charities

Target:
All Organizations that use the mail for unsolicited donation requests
Sponsored by:
We are people who care about others. We care about equal rights, Native Americans, feeding the hungry, access to healthcare, protection for animals, domestic violence, and a host of other important issues including the preservation of our environment, the reduction of greenhouse gasses and global warming. We have signed the do not mail registry but some organizations insist on continuing to send us more garbage.

We believe that the disregard for the latter issues by junkmailers in the interest of specific charities warrants our withholding of ANY funds for these organizations. We will therefore recycle every page that is sent to us unsolicited and send no more money to those organizations that persist in this wanton and destructive behavior.

Save our planet, stop global warming, save our trees and don't send people more garbage into their mailboxes. I understand the need of money, but send e-mail to those who have access to the internet and please don't send paper-requests every month but work together with other advertising componies. Please recycle all the paper and urge your Mayor or governement to recycle paper, plastic, cans, clothing and more. Stop the polution of our homes, stop murdering our planet and resources.
