Preston and Steve Day in Philadelphia

In recognition of their use of the public airwaves to serve the people of the Delaware Valley, we call on Philadelphia City Council to designate a %u201CPreston and Steve Show Day%u201D in Philadelphia.
Such a resolution is a simple, low-cost means for the city to encourage businesses to follow the Preston and Steve Show%u2019s lead in, for example:
* Raising hundreds of tons of food for PhilAbundance;
* Supporting the families of fallen and injured police Officers Hayes, Marynowitz, Cassidy, Sergeant Liczbinski, and, by fraternity, all Philadelphia peace and law enforcement professionals;
* Raising thousands of pints of blood for the Red Cross; and
* Assisting the organization Locks of Love in treating children with medical hair loss.

A good friend of mine introduced me to Preston and Steve about 5 months ago, and these guys are totally awesome!! I think we should have a Preston and Steve Day in Philadelphia because not only do they make me laugh my ass off every morning but they have done a lot for the people of the city of Philadelphia. Anytime they need something done for any group of people in the city of Philadelphia, we their listeners respond. They just had a blood drive and they have done numerous fund raisers for the police in the City of Brotherly Love. Also, the tons of food that they raised for PhilAbundance!!! They should each get a key to the city and there should be a Preston and Steve Day in Philadelphia to honor them and to thank them for all they have done!!! GADZOOKS!!! YOU TOTALLY WORK!!!

I'm a truck driver from jersey and drive alot in pa. I have seen and heard the good that Preston, Steve and their show have done for the city of Philadelphia and surrounding areas. I feel that creating Preston and Steve Day in Philadelphia is one way the city and the people can thank this fine group of people for their efforts to better their community. These guys have done soooo much for the surrounding area that they deserve more than just a day.

Preston and Steve have been a major force in the Philadelphia area for over 10 years. Not only do the keep the sanity of the people of Philadelphia(by them being insane themselves) but for so long have given back to the community through their many charitable events.

There definitely should be a day designated to Preston and Steve,,,of all radio shows that I have ever listened to these guys have unselfishly given so much to the community to help families of fallen officers, blood donations, hair donations for cancer patients....In my opinion there need to more people out there with the generosity and caring nature of Preston and Steve,,,if there were, maybe the world would be a little better place to live in.

I've been listening to Preston and Steve since the WDRE days in the mid to late 90's. They have a way of making me feel part of their conversations. No other team of radio hosts have ever made me feel this way. They aren't a part of Philly...they ARE Philly.
