The Global petition to prosecute G. W. Bush for War Crimes

The Global petition to prosecute G. W. Bush for War Crimes

Target:
United Nations and International Criminal Court
Sponsored by:

This is a petition to open an investigation into the crimes committed by Ex-President George W. Bush's and his administration. Through his 8 years of reign in America he was directly responsible for 2 wars, including the un-just war of Iraq; he was indirectly responsible for the turbulence in the middle east through his support of the Israeli regime's criminal acts.

G. W. Bush breached almost all International laws governing what constitutes a war crime, these crimes were committed for the personal interest of the perpetrator, these crimes were committed against the public opinion of the citizens of his nation and the global opposition of the world, these crimes were committed as an act of aggression against sovereign nations and these crimes were NOT committed in self-defense.

Furthermore, these crimes were committed as: "a part of a plan or policy and as part of a large-scale commission of such crimes" therefore they directly fall within the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court.

And we as citizens of this world, only demand that the International Criminal Court would take its responsibility and hold those guilty of these crimes accountable.

G. W. Bush have committed Crimes against humanity, and must be prosecuted before the International Criminal Court.

2. Torture or inhumane treatment of prisoners.
3. Unlawful wanton destruction or appropriation of property.
4. Depriving prisoners of war of a fair trial.
5. Unlawful deportation, confinement or transfer of citizens.
6. Destruction of civilian property, hospitals, schools heritage buildings and places of worship.

B. During the War on Iraq G. W. Bush committed the following acts:

1. Directing attacks against civilians.
2. Killing surrendered combatants.
3. Deportation of inhabitants of occupied territory.
4. Using poison weapons.
5. Summary execution.
6. Pillage and looting of property.
7. Rape, sexual slavery, forced prostitution and forced pregnancy.

These crimes were committed for the personal interest of the perpetrator, these crimes were committed against the public opinion of the citizens of his nation and the global opposition of the world, these crimes were committed as an act of aggression against sovereign nations and these crimes were NOT committed in self-defense.

Justice should be applied to the strong nations before the weak nations. It is time to denounce the double standards the international community have applied in the past, and start a new chapter that is built on Justice and Freedom.

If I were the judge, George Bush,Dick Cheny, Donald Rumsfeld and the architects of the Plan for a New America would rot in prison with no windows until their was peace throughout the MidEast. At that point, George could get out, because after all he was just a tool. He could be on probation, reading books to little children as part of his community service. We could put the books in his library, along with his collection of Superman comics.

By my own understanding, Bush engaged the US in Wars of Aggression, as the US was not acting in self-defense, and also broke treaty laws and international law through the use of torture and secret detention.

As soon as the guy was shown to be a pathological liar he should have been impeached because Congress could no longer trust him. He's a psychopath and we have to make sure we never allow a psychopath to get in, or remain in office again. Bush was the Charles Manson of U.S. Presidents. This all goes back to Ford pardoning Nixon: that allowed Reagan, Kissinger, the Bushes, the Clintons, Pelosi–hell, almost the entire Congress and Supreme Court–to all become war criminals and mass murderers. This cycle won't stop unless Bush hangs with Saddam from the gallows' noose for treason and war crimes. Never Again!

Until we hold all of our public officials accountable for their actions, we will not be adequately represented. Bush's 8 years in office did nothing more than to prove the tyranny of our corporate and political structures. No longer can we call the United States a representative democracy. Now is the time to act, and to take back our rightful power as a society. We must educate one another, work towards positive social change, and act on behalf of one-another on the basis of co-existing. We are at a pivotal point in history - please, do your part before it is too late. We all live with the consequences of our actions - that's what we call FREE WILL. And don't tell me everything is pre-determined... That change is hopeless... That you can't make a difference... That it doesn't count... WHO DECIDES TO BELIEVE IT? Who makes the decision to give up or to push forward? You. Which means that you create your world! Each decision DOES matter. Each act DOES make a difference. Liberate your mind from habituated, cultural barriers. Liberate your mind from the fetters of anger, hatred, aggression, and ignorance. Recognize your suffering and the suffering that you cause. And take your place as a citizen of the world and the cosmos. Act on behalf of the future generations who will inherit our actions. They are what matter the most.

Not only should "Dubya" be prosecuted, but also Rumsfeld, Rice, Rove, and Gonzalez. These cowards are responsible for the deaths of countless Iraqi civilians, but also the torture of prisoners at Abu Grave prison, and at Gitmo, plus the cover up of these atrocities.
