Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) are regulated to protect and conserve marine life and habitats for generations to come. They allow depleted, over-harvested species a chance to bounce back after decades of misuse and overharvesting.
That's why we need a solid network of Marine Protected Areas.
Urge Governor Jerry Brown to take a leadership role on a state-wide network of Marine Protected Areas for California, which will in turn set the stage for other states and nations to follow suit.
