Save the Roan Plateau in Colorado

Target:
State of Colorado, Department of the Interior
Sponsored by:
The Roan Plateau is an area 3,500 feet above sea level in the Colorado River Valley. It contains some of the last wild tracts of Public land in this region. It is an area still rich in wildlife such as Mule Deer, Elk, Black Bear and Cougars. In addition it is prime habitat for Peregrine Falcon. There are stunning box canyons diving down to the cliff walls and many waterfalls and streams flow in the region as well. This area is in danger of gas drilling and unless it is desilgnated as Official Wilderness it could be another loss of prime habitat for the Flora and Fauna that are in this area. Development should be a no-no we have to do our best to set aside what we can.

Leave what land that is left for us, you old people won't have to live with it!

I speak for the younger generations. Save as much of Colorado as you can. How can we be a 'green' state if we support the Oil Industry?
