We believe that public officials urging all Americans to get the risky swine flu shot should "lead the way" by getting theirs first. However, "President" Barack Obama is obfuscating the issue by asking for a
recommendation from his HHS Secretary before getting inoculated. That's not showing leadership like President Ford did in 1976 when
he did his duty to the country.
Ms. Sebelius has stated that she has received the regular flu shot (web page now not found) but not the swine flu shot. No statement from CDC's Friedan has been located but all signs point to him having not gotten his shot.
Dr. Daines was confronted as to whether he would get the shot and
here was his dodging response (a second response can be found

Additionally, the federal government has given
legal immunity to vaccine makers, another compelling reason to refuse getting the swine flu shot.
Therefore, We the People, the signers of this petition, insist "President" Obama, HHS Secretary Sebelius, CDC Director Friedan, Dr. Daines and any other public officials urging everyone to get vaccinated to "go first" and "lead by example" if the shot is so safe. Only when they get the shots and do so on camera as proof will we even so much as consider getting inoculated ourselves.
