I truly believe this is what is wrong with our children today, they have not been taught right from wrong and held accountable for their actions. Why is America bowing down to the minority who want God taken out of our schools and off our money, and out of our constitution. When President Thomas Jefferson helped put together the public school system in the District of Columbia, he put the Bible on every desk. He called the teachings of Jesus Christ the purest of ethics. He believed strongly in the 10 Commandments. By violation of precedent, the Bible was removed from the public school system in the first place. Whether you believe in the religious principles within the Bible or not, there's a MAJOR difference in political ideology between teaching children they are made in the image of a Supreme Creator, giving a standard to try to live up to, and teaching them they are simply animals, wondering all the while why they act like the animals from which they are taught they "evolved." Over 98% of all the citizenry of the original United States were believers in the Judeo-Christian ethic and the spawned religions of that ethic. When John Adams said that "This Constitution is only for a moral and religious people and is wholly inadequate to the governing of any other," he was talking about the religion based on the Bible. To have removed the very basis of moral law from the public schools in the first place was a travesty. To allow it to remain outlawed without trying to reinsert it as a mainstay for good citizenship is to accept responsibility for the tragedy of the increasing crime rate within our nation, not to mention the eternal implications.

It is alarming the rate of Public school graduates vs. Christian Private school graduates testing levels. I was average and struggled in a private school, yet tested into Sophomore and Junior level materials upon my college entrance. The difference is threefold: I studied the Bible, I applied the Bibilcal virtues to my life and study habits, and I saw I was accountable to a higher power [God] in all I did. This is how I achieve Magna Cum Laude in College, and remained a member of the honors courses throughout my Collegiate career. I am no seeking to return to College and gain another Bachelors to broaden my abilities and achieve even greater things -- and it's all because I studied the Bible, and learned to apply it's teachings to my life.
