well he is a baby he learned his lesson put him in time out he is 16 years old for god sake if no one was harmed then let him live his life i didnt have much of a good life when i was a child you know i wish i had a normal life as a child maybe i'll change my attitude with my social life but i was beaten and raped several times by my step dad and his 3 sons and i was only 9 and it happened till i was 10 and im now 17 and i have been to jail the most was 3-4 days i thought i was gonna go crazy PLEASE DONT SEND THIS BABY TO JAIL I feel his pain jail is horrible even for a kid AND YOUR PUTTING HIM IN PRISON FOR LIFE he should be out free maybe one day he can graduate and become a cop and get the real bad guys out there your not thinking about this to hard judge because he can be your hero let him decide weather he wants to be a cop or a criminal he did get to far to choose let him turn his life around and head in the right direction!!!!!!

This is way beyond cruel and unusual punishment!!! People who have actually murdered someone get much less sentences, some only a couple of years. This is obviously a case of prejudice and/or immoral courts.

To all Juvenile courts! I think the county, and State Officials should recognize the dangers that exist within the juvenile justice systems all over the State of California. The fact that judges place children into adult facilities and subject them to harm by adult inmates needs to be stopped immediately! Send a letter to all officials and have them contract F.A.C.C. to monitor and facilitate the actions needed taken to get change and reform within the system!

How is it that a 14 year old, with a 29 year old accomplice, commits a kidnapping and shoots at the police. Thankfully no one gets hurt, but he gets life without parole. While most adults who commit murder are up for parole in 15 to 20 years. Please explain to me how justice was done.

Kids are just that KIDS! Kids are a product of their environment and if a child is unlucky enough to be a product of a bad evironment or be surrounded by peers that are products of a bad environment then that child deserves a second chance. I feel anyone who is in prison especially children should be in an environment that is not about punishment, but rehabilitaion. If you only punish then society as a whole is who really gets punished not just the prisoner!

It is extreme to give a life sentence to anyone, never mind someone who is under age for a crime where there was no one injured and no one died. Please review this case for the sake of reason as well as humanity.
