"Shoeless" Joe Jackson in the Hall of Fame

More than time has passed since the the infamous "Black Sox" scandal . The game of baseball , today , has been tainted under a dark cloud of uncertainty , and many great players proving out to be nothing more than just another player . Those with clear baseball knowledge , and even those without , realize that here is a man who deserves to be home where he belongs - The Hall of Fame . To love something , anything , beyond what it actually is - that is called complete happiness . To Joe Jackson , that something was called baseball . And to have had that game taken away from him , was to stop his heart and having to carry the burden of shame . This is man who loved baseball beyond a simple game .He loved this game so much , he took the burden of shame to his death .I , as a fan of Joe Jackson , truly believe that he died of a broken heart more than anything else . This is a petition to lift the ban on "Shoeless" Joe Jackson's Hall of Fame eligibility status , and for a formal apology on behalf of the commissioner of baseball , Bud Selig .
