In my first & hopefully only experience before a court, there seems to be about 100 cases set into the one time slot, much like a doctors surgery. If your case isn't called the Judge expects you to be there for the next slot.Eg you're there for the morning slot & expected to be there for the afternoon slot. This doesn't take into consideration someone who may be trying to hold down a job & rearranged their hours around this appointment. Judges show little respect for everyone else's time and forget everyone else might have lives and jobs they have to go to & can't hang around a court room all day.Even worse, the case might not be heard at all that day & it can take 4-5 sittings to eventually get things sorted.Has anyone else had this problem? Shouldn't there be less cases listed for one slot so that they all have a chance to be heard? Also my judge turned up half an hour late on the court day... this wouldn't be acceptable for "joe Bloggs"
