B & K Universal / Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS)
B & K (http://www.bku.com/) breeds rats, mice, dogs etc. to supply to other companies, including HLS, for product testing.
HLS (http://www.huntingdon.com/) uses these animals to carry out tests on animals for their customers’ products including:
- Food additives & packaging
- Adhesives
- Clothes dyes
- Veterinary products

Without its customers, there would be no HLS. If they lost just two of their customers in the next 12 months, then they wouldn't have an income and would have to close.
Ten companies give HLS 45% of their income.
