A bar is trying to open in the community of Big Lake. They want to play cajun, swamp pop, and old country. There is no where for anyone to go to listen to this music and be able to dance and have a few drinks without alot of fighting. Everywhere you go you have to scream at people standing beside you just so they can hear. This bar is looking to allow people to come in have a few drinks, dance with your loved ones, maybe shoot some pool, listen to a great band and have a wonderful time with out going home half deaf. Another factor is besides one other bar there is no bars within about 20 miles. This would give people the ability to go out and not have so far to drive. There is no way to stop people from drinking and driving but this could shorten ones drive home, and possibly save many lives and lower ones chances of a DWI.
