Scot Dutcher, the chief of the Colorado Department of Agriculture's Animal Protection Bureau called on people to "eat more polar bears." Does THAT sound like someone interested in protecting a species that is threatened and endangered???
He also added,
"Success over animal rights is the best revenge!" he wrote. "Meat is in higher demand, more entries, spectators in rodeo, etc..."
It might be the last thing you would expect a State Employee to be tweeting about while at work, on the taxpayers dime. You can find him at @skinnyhorse, where he has posted countless thoughts that seem to lead anywhere but towards the protection of animals. His use of twitter was unauthorized.
Shouldn't someone in a position to look out for the best interests of animals at least be a little more open minded and professional about animal rights issues? Remove Scot Dutcher from his position as the chief of the Colorado Department of Agriculture's Animal Protection Bureau and hire someone with better things to do than play games on twitter posting antagonistic, self decribed "anti-animal rights."
