Repeal Breed Specific Legislation in New Zealand

NZ - Go to www.Purebrednz.com/petition.htm for the official petition that will be presented to the House of Representatives as follows:
1. repeal Breed Specific Legislation under the Dog Control Act and replace it with legislation requiring the licensing of dog owners (which shows they understand the laws pertaining to dog ownership, and the social,  physical and nutritional needs of dogs).

2. ensure that no animal welfare or law enforcement agency can discriminate against any dog based upon breed or type.

3. make provision for the revocation of an owners license after three infringements requiring that owners apply for a probationary license (the term being dependent upon the seriousness of the offences), which if infringed will result in banning dog ownership.
