Repeal the Three Strike Law in California

The Three Strikes Law is not only cruel and inhumane but it is also Ungodly. I am a christian. I am not saying that to disrespect anyone elses religion or belief. But as a christian and reading the bible I can not understand how the christian proponents of The Three Strike Law can justify voting for a law that is void of God's grace and mercy. The Three Strike Law basically says that you can never redeem yourself. In essence it is saying it does not matter if you rehabilitate yourself or not you are going to be punished and condemned forever. Just think if our God operated on that premise. We would all be doomed. The Three Strike law actually sets itself up over God's word. Jesus said in Matthew 23:23-24 "Woe to you ... hypocrites!...and have neglected the weighter matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith." He also said "Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens hard to bear..." Luke 11:46
"Woe do those who decree unrighteous decrees, Who write misfortune, which they have prescribed to rob the needy of justice" Isaiah 10:1-2. Jesus also said "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment." John 7:24. Isaiah 10:1-2 says "...For the LORD is a God of Justice" I couldn't depend on man for an answer concerning Three Strikes because history has taught me that man is and always will be capable of doing all type of inhumane acts and some in the name of God. I went straight to God's word for an answer. I felt before I started searching God's word that this law was cruel, unfair, unjust and grossly wrong. But after studying God's word I feel even stronger about my position.
It is up to caring people to fight for people who can not fight for themselves. Caring people includes everyone Christians and Non Christians. God is offended by injustice and this Three Strike Law is unjust. "The LORD saw that there was no justice, and He was offended. He saw that there was no man - He was amazed that there was no one interceding..." Isaiah 59
Please do not let God be offended with us because we sit back and allow people to be caught in this web of injustice being perpetrated as justice. Froude says that "Justice without reason is impossible". There is no justifiable reason for The Three Strike Law.

We the undersigned are asking for our moral leaders to step up and usher in the biblical call for social justice. Isaiah 59:15-16 says "... the LORD saw that there was no justice, and He was offended. He saw that there was no man -- He was amazed that there was no one interceding..." The Three Strike law is ungodly and it is time to stop offending God by not doing anything about this ungodly and unjust law. O'Connell said "nothing is politically right which is morally wrong." This law is wrong on so many fronts. First and foremost it is wrong because it leaves no room for grace and mercy. It is ungodly to send someone to prison for life like Christian Alexander Guerra for walking away from a fire camp and George Anderson for filling out a false DMV application. discuss this with your congregation and help put into action a plan to finally get rid of this ungodly law. Isaiah 42:3-4 says "... He will bring forth justice for truth, He will not fail nor be discouraged, till He has established justice in the earth And the coastlands shall wait for his law." Psalms 82:1-2 says God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges amound the gods. How long will you judge unjustly? " "Her Judges are evening wolves that leave not a bone till morning... They have done violence to the law" Zechariah 3:3-4. God has a lot to say about justice in His word. What are we going to do? God said he was offended about the lack of justice and amazed by inactivity of His people.
