Require all Massachusetts registered passenger vehicles to display two license plates

Target:
Massachusetts Legislature, House, Senate, and Governor
Sponsored by:
This petition was created to solve to toss up in Massachusetts License Plate Laws, specifically passenger vehicles. You may have on our roads here in the Bay State, There are two types of passenger vehicle license plates. There are the Newer plates "RED NUMBER PLATES" and there are "GREEN NUMBER PLATES". The Newer "red number plates" are the most common, they display "red numbers and letters" and display "Massachusetts" at the top in blue, and "The Spirit of America" at the bottom, also in blue. However motorists that have the Older "GREEN NUMBER PLATES" are only required to display one License Plate, on the rear of the vehicle, and NO front plate is required. But motorists with the "RED NUMBER PLATES" are required to display two plates, one the front and on the rear. This petition is intended to tell our state Legislature, that our License plate laws are not only outdated, but as well they not fair, they are disorderly, and they don't make sence. It is time we must bring in some uniformity to our Licence Plate Laws. What we are trying to say is, it doesn't make sence that some passenger vehicle should have two plates and others have only one, those vehicles that display the Green Number Plates, only have to have one, and are exempt from having a front plate. So someone with a "RED NUMBER PLATE" fails to attach their front plate they subject to be cited by law enforcement, but those with a "GREEN NUMER PLATE" can LEGALLY display NO front plate, What sence does this make? anyone with any common sence would say, Absolutly None. We are assuming the reason why Massachusetts adopted a "Two Plate System" was most likely an effort to help Law Enforcement, enforce the law. However I don't see this completely helping law enforcement, because not everyone is required to have Two Plates. The best solution to this problem would to abolish the old "green number plates" and offer mandatory free upgrades the the newer "red number plates" witch are much more ledgeble anyway. I can honestly say that most the the old "green number plates" we see the roads these days, are bearly ledgeble, and should be eliminated for more than one reason. I Would also like to note the old "green number plates" don't state the month of registration, but only the year, with a decal on the upper right hand corner, and displaying no month decal and inprint of the month, this makes it imposible to tell what month the registration expired. So please, NO more "GREEN NUMBER PLATES" and Require all passenger vehicles to upgrade the "RED NUMBER PLATES" with "The Spirit of America" at the bottom, I wouldn't it would be painful for anyone to make the change. It should be an honor, seeing these plates are more patriotic.

Listen to me, you silly douchebag... I have a green plate and am not giving it up. It's my identity. It shows that I'm not some out of town asshole, like yourself, and I've lived here all of my life. You should really go and get laid to loosen up a little and stop worring about what others have. Worry about yourself you stupid prick.

Everone should be rquired to display two license plates. It isn't good policy to have most have two while others still only have one "on the rear". This really isn't logical. In my opinion either everone should have two, if the can't happen, than everyone should only be required to have one license plate.
