RESUME DAILY Fukushima Meltdown Crisis COVERAGE

We the undersigned have noticed that newspapers & news stations have ceased to put Fukushima on the FRONT PAGE and ceased to daily extended coverage of this issue. This is shocking. WHY? In any case, this coverage *must* resume. Lack of coverage creates false security.

Russian news stations such as RT are reporting on this. Where are North American news reports on this? Is there some gag-rule? RT published a story on May 17th with a review of the current situation.

In that story there is an interview you *must* see.
Please bring this scientist's interviews to North American news.

<The situation at the Fukushima plant is currently out of control, says Professor Christopher Busby from the European Committee on Radiation Risks, who gave RT his insight into the recent developments in Japan.

Of course, it's time for the Japanese government to take control. But having said that, it's very hard to know how you could take control of the situation. The situation is essentially out of control,
Busby stressed.

I believe personally that it's a global problem and not the Japanese government's problem only, he added.>

From the beginning, the world's best engineers & scientists as well as military soldiers & resources should have been deeply involved in containing the problem. Why are we sitting back & watching Tokyo Electric fail? Scientists, engineers, military personnel & additional resources are needed ~ we must remember that a military's main function for any country is to protect. They are needed to protect at this moment, in this situation.

Where has the coverage here disappeared to? Maybe you think we're not interested in this topic. We certainly are. This petition is to let you know that we are indeed deeply interested in this topic, would like awareness to spread & want discussions around the world to open up. More discussion can lead to more solutions! The everyday citizen needs to know about this.

DAILY FRONT PAGE coverage is needed for all newspapers. News stations need to cover this AT LENGTH on a daily basis. Advertisements & 'fluff' stories can take a backseat until the crisis is completely resolved, whenever that day comes. *No more* celebrity gossip on the front page for now. This is much more important.

Even the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission has reported the meltdown.

CNSC Update 2:45 p.m. EDT: On May 12, Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) announced that Fukushima Daiichi Unit 1 is in a state of core meltdown because the majority of the fuel rods in the core had melted and fallen to the bottom of the reactor pressure vessel.

We respectfully & *strongly* request that you resume prominent daily coverage of the developing crisis. The problem hasn't gone away...

Thank you.
