Return Unspent Stimulus Funds to Paydown Debt

As our economic turmoil is beginning to subside, and as we have only spent/committed approximately $146 billion of the $787 billion authorized, it is incumbent upon all responsible political leaders to return at least $500 billion, leaving an additional $54 billion in unforseen emergencies, to the US Treasury for the SOLE purpose of paying down our National Debt.  This debt is the silent killer of our future and of our heritage via our families.  By making this dramatic and financially prudent move, we the undersigned believe we will lessen the burden on future generations, strengthen the dollar value and use as the World's Reserve Currency.
