I just found this petition and want to thank whoever is responsable for it. Each one of you provided some relief to no I am not the only one out there who has been destroyed by these crooks. It makes me physically sick to think our government is partially responsable for this. I also want to say to the case worker who started this crap I hope someday you are given a child and it is taken from you or the kid tortures you like you have tortured me. I do want to talk about something I havent read much about on this petition. That is the lawyers. They are no better than CPS or the caseworkers. I hired an attorney two years ago for my case involving my daughter. They claimed I was neglecting her because I work six days a week. My daughter stays mainly with my mother during the day. The father lives in another state and yes he does pay child support so no complaints other than him choseing not to be in her life. I work to pay the bills. Someone kepth turning me in claiming I was never at home with her because I was sleeping around with men, drinking, you name it. None of that is true. I work a lot of hours for her and when I am not at work I was with my child. I even had witnesses to back me up but CPS didn't care. I am young and poor which they love to attack. I had to take out loans to get a lawyer and he did nothing! This was after he claimed my child would be back within three or four months. A year later not a thing had been done and forget getting him to return a call. Finally I fired him cause he kepth wanting more money (my fees had totaled around 8,000 dollars for nothing). Devastayted I hired another lawyer who agreed to set up payments with me. I had to come up with a thousand dollars for them to take the case and then could pay the rest monthly. I was told by the lawyer about a month after taking my case it did not appear the first lawyer had done another no motions or anything. Oh and when I reported the first one to the Board for lawyer responsability they did nothing to him. They are like CPS in terms of protecting their own. The second lawyer said the case seemed simple enough and did try to depose CPS. They filed a motion to quash or squash whatever the term is stating they wanted to protect records. My lawyer dropped me as a client stating since we cant get records I should just do what they ask. That does not work for me because I have done nothing. Where is my due process? I want to be heard and if a judge orders something then I will do it but I thought I had a right to defend myself. Whoever said this country had become nazi is right. Our legal system and government is a joke.

The neighbor lied, the case manager lied under oath, but I have to fight both. The judge thankfully believed me and not them, but "just to be safe" let my daughter go with her father who she has only met a couple time...because he didn't want her. He has been ordered to do certain things for her, but he smokes too much weed to remember to even feed her...across the country from me. Thanks CPS, you stole my girl and because you didn't want to shell out money to do the right thing, she is now truly in danger. Before you take someone's child, you need to conduct a complete investigation (They do not). It is sad to say but child abuse allegations are not about protecting children they are big business. As the years have gone on, CPS has been given more and more power and the government turns a blind eye to all of it. That is how it works. Children's Services is out of control because once again the government is trying to get by on the cheap. Let's review, untrained workers, ridiculous policies, bully and intimidation techniques, oh and money for states when they kidnap your kids. Before we start telling other countries how to live perhaps we need to clean up our own doorstep. It is a sad reality when I worry less about some stranger kidnapping my child than I do an inept government. Before the next election ask the people who are running what they plan to do about Children's Services and watch them avoid the question.

CPS in Tennessee (especially West Tennessee) is so corrupt it is ridiculous. The tide is turning. A friend of mine sent me a contact number and email for a class action lawsuit that is coming. It is time that all of us stand up and be counted and tell the government they no longer represent us. What the hell has happened to this country? My advice to anyone planning to have kids is consider moving to another country. CPS are out of control and no one in authority wants to do anything about it. Let the history books now read, CPS the most corrupt organization in the history of the United States and a government that refuses to investigate them. There are fewer more inept groups than CPS. My wife is a social worker (not in CPS) and she despises CPS. She comes home complaining almost everyday with how they do business. Unfortunately because they are the only agency in place, she is required to support suspicious activity to CPS. She comes home crying on a weekly basis because she knows what they are capable of. In fact, it has gotten so bad she is looking for another job because she can't "take the ineptness and corruption." The key to fighting CPS is court action. They hate lawsuits, hate attorneys, and they don't know what to do with people of intelligence. Do not ever cooperate with CPS. Don't take their parenting classes, you name it. Once you complete their plan, they will keep adding things and they see you compling with them as an admission of guilt. Don't do it! Trust me on this. If you can afford one, get a good attorney. CPS are cowards at heart and never forget that. If you can't afford a good attorney then take them to court on your own. Two and a half years ago, CPS invaded our home and took our took children saying we were neglecting our kids. They never told us what this "neglect" allegedly was. In particular they targeted my husband. When I defended my husband I was threatened with jail. By the way the caseworker could barely talk her speech was so slurred. You want to know why people hate Tennessee government, look at the type of people often employed, the present governor included.

The key to dealing with Children's Services is finding a good attorney. Children's Services loves to bully people and a good lawyer will fight them back. They hate going to court because a good judge will see thru the setup. Children's Services only picks on the weak and the poor. If they think you can't afford an attorney they love to terminate rights but if they think they are going to be exploited they usually back off unless they can get the police involved.

CPS are corrupt but the truth is, and I agree with this petition, is the fact most of you are not really willing to do what it takes to stop this evil. It is going to require massive lawsuits, protests in Nashville and other areas, constant letters to the editor, blogs telling of their corruption, flyers, and voting people out of office.I have tried my hardest to organize these types of things in my own area and many parents have shared with me that they know CPS is corrupt but they are fearful to get involved because if CPS catches wind of it, they will set them up to. An unlawful and unreasonable witch hunt was commenced against my Wife and I in January of 2005 by multiple government agencies/employees under color of law. This witch hunt continues today. Through public records I discovered showing our DCS caseworker was a convicted felon and other documents that were presented to the TN DCS Commissioner, the caseworker quit before he could be fired. The DCS internal documents state that he fabricated evidence and fabricated documents and violated DCS policies. Yet the material lies he placed in his reports continue to cause us unlawful injury and harm. His regional supervisor is no longer at her position. She mysteriously left her position 2 weeks after our local and honorable State Representative, Steve McDaniel took official documents we presented to him to a meeting with the State DCS Commissioner, Viola Miller. At least 2 of those corrupt and incompetent people will not cause harm to other familes through that particular agency. The courts only cover up the corruption of DCS in Tennessee. Our court system is an embarrasment to anyone who thinks that judges should comply with written law and their sworn oaths of office while representing the court.

I want to talk about those who do the false allegations. Why are they not investigated? Does the Department of Criminal Stupid not realize that sometimes the other parent lies on one another or sometimes the children are brainwashed or threatened into lying? Anyone who accuses another should be checked out as well. After all if they honestly believe someone committed abuse they would have no problems in being checked themselves. If someone logging the complaint has CPS allegations as well you can bet more often than not they are trying to pass the buck.

Being from Memphis I am used to corruption and flat out crap. I am fortunate that I have not had to deal with CPS as of yet but two of my three sisters have both because of exhusbands. Because most CPS employees are undertrained and undereducated (no one with a mere Bachelor's Degree in Sociology or Social Work or some other degree should make decisions on removing children) the system is doomed to fail. CPS fails to understand most child abuse allegations are false. Anyone who reports someone else should also be investigated. If they have CPS allegations as well (as was the case with one of the exhusbands) that should make CPS suspicious. If a child under the age of 8 claims something inappropriate took place CPS should question that very seriously. Kids sometimes lie and brainwashing is easy at that age. How many times do you ever hear them going after someone that has the financial means to fight back? Case and point look at Britney Spears or Michael Jackson (no disrespect intended to the deceased) Spears has done a ton of things putting her kids in jeopardy yet they keep handing her custody back. Michael Jackson held his child over a balcony to show the child to reporters one time. (I am not going to go into the sexual molestation allegations with Jackson because I believe in innocent until proven guilty and there was no proof on that one) But if you or I had done the things that Spears and Jackson had done (things that legitimately happened) we would never see our children again. They get away (as well as other celebrities) because they have the financial means so CPS doesn't even bother with them. Funny how that works isn't it.

DCS will not allow children in custody, because of mom's drug problem, have visitation with their only grandmother that has bonded with them since birth. I am treated badly because I wanted to protect the children from the atmosphere they were living in. So since I made the call to CPS, I get blamed for not taking them. I am single and have very low income and can't get services to keep them. But they will pay for foster home's and not let them see me. The children are 8 and 4.

The longer I read through this petition and the Rally Congress one (like an elected official is going to do anything!)the more furious I get. CPS has been allowed to make their own rules, violate the constitution, and the powers that be DO NOT (insert profanity) CARE! I also love how everyone's excuse is "I'll pray for you" meaning they have no intention of doing anything to help but want to feel better about themselves. One aspect that has not been covered is the sleeze many attorneys are in this state. Most don't actually want to work for a living so would rather take easy divorce cases than take on an agency like CPS. CPS destroys families lives, makes people go bankrupt and have led to many suicides. Yes they are not only legalized kidnappers but also legalized murderers, but hey the government has to be on our side right and don't forget friends and family are going to always "pray for you" because both of those things have worked so incredibly well since the early 90's when CPS started spinning out of control. I have gone years without my child and to this day have no clue what it is I have done and I don't suspect I will ever know. Honest folks those CPS people are. What is especially great is they normally have workers around the age of 25 who either have no children of their own or have so many kids they could start a basketball team (but ironically not the same father in most cases, moral people these CPS folks). Forget about ever getting a CPS courtcase heard in court unless a minimum of two or three years has gone by and you must have spent a minimum of 20,000 in legal fees. That's alright why not contact the governor of this state, honest man that he is, surely he will do something. Oh! Wait that's right he is the one who appointed the current CPS commissioner who still has a job despite all the corruption and lawsuits against CPS. But that's okay our elected leaders are looking out for us and though CPS has run rampant for years and they have never done a (insert more profanity here) thing about it in well over a decade, they are looking out for you and I am sure since most of them claim to be Christians (regardless of the sex scandals many are involved in, we need to overlook that), they will "pray for you." They better build another room in Hell because most of our leaders and CPS are going to have their own room there.

I to have an ex- husband who uses dcs to play games with me putting my children in the middle. They have interviewed my children several times at school without my knowledge asking them questions such as "do you hate your momma" How is this helping my young children grow up better? They have been to my house several times and found all these claims to be false but continue to interview my children. When is this considred harrassment? They have the authority to get into my childrens personal files whenever they choose.I feel like I have no rights as a parent. I raise my children the best that I can. I know these interviews are not emotionally healthy for my children but yet I can't make it stop. There are children out there that do need help and I understand that but when is enough enough? There do need to be tougher laws for DCS to follow.Some people can't afford private attorneys and even if they could dcs interviews these children while they are at school without a parents knowledge or consent

This site says it all when it comes to CPS. The United States died a tragic years ago. Everything is about money and CPS is a money guzzler and nothing else. As I read through this petition, one thing that I have noticed has not been addressed much is the role of psychologists. CPS has many psychologists under their wing. Here is what they do. Often they will expect you to take parenting classes and then will put the kid(s) in therapy. The therapists will of course "find something" through a method called brainwashing and that will prolong you getting your child, if you ever get them at all. This will require you spending more time with your attorney who is more or less an ambulance chaser to begin with. You will eventually run out of money meaning you have to go about it on your own. Since you have no lawyer, that is when they will fight you in court (not while you have a lawyer because they are cowards) and your child will be gone forever.

My children were done wrong by dcs because they didn't know the scientific terms of abuse to tell the people. Also, they told them that their dad, hit, slapped, pulled their ears, and pushed them up against walls but for whatever reasons they found nothing wrong with this. My loving wife was helping my son in a YMCA after swim practice get changed because they were rushed for time to get home. My son is 4. Somebody arerted the front dest that a boy was in the womens room getting changed and the YMCA must have given out our address only to find the business card of the case manager on our door. The CPS visit that took place a few days later accused her of sexual exploitation, and removed my son from our custody. It has been a month now. What has this come too?! These are unprofessional and uneducated people removing our children from homes for NO REASON! STOP THIS INSANITY!!! My wife is so depressed she is unable to function at her very successful career and lost it yesterday as a result. Davidson County has provided us with NO services, only hoops to jump through and telling us that even if we do what they demand, he may not come home due to the sexual exploitation...his own mother helping him change clothes in a local YMCA! With no family that is available (financially in this economy) the road ahead of us, is FOSTER CARE! What is wrong with you Tennessee???? TN will pay more in Foster Care than helping us reunite our family...that was destroyed on account of just an uneducated passer-by, and further implicated by the uneducated "case manager" who has no more than a GED, but is allowed to make decisions higher that the law!

There are just so many problems involving CPS. One, the system is indeed corrupt. It is about money. Two, the government knows what CPS does but won't do anything about it because people are easily fooled. They hear there is a system set to curb alleged child abuse and do not realize the evil that CPS does. Three, attorneys make a killing off of CPS cases. It normally costs 2,500 or more to get started and then they will milk it for all they can as long as they can. Four, CPS is able to operate above the law and they know it. There agency is allowed to violate the US Constitution. There is a landmark case out there for an attorney who wants to do the right thing and the American people should be horrified. The government needs to worry less about healthcare reform and fighting a never ending war in Afghanistan and focusing a little bit more on the rights of parents. CPS is often used as a front for child custody cases as well. My father told me years ago the United States would one day cease to exist and we are seeing that happen.

This state is a joke when it comes to CPS agencies. I would like to share my family's hell. My younger brother is a good man and a loving father. Unfortunately, life has not always been fair to him. He is what some people would consider "a little slow." In other words, he has slight mental retardation. That is not an insult at all. My brother is an amazing man who has done very well in his life. He grew up taking resource classes throughout school. It was hard for him but he got through it because he worked hard. He did not go to college but became a laborer. He ia truly amazing at being able to build houses you name it. About seven years ago he met a woman who already had two children, a girl and a boy. The marriage unfortunately did not work and for some reason she seemed to spew hatred for him. (She didn't like the fact that being a laborer his income largely depended on demand and with a poor economy it was tough). To our surprise the daughter wanted to live with her stepfather. Obviously this was not going to happen but it made my brother's ex furious that her daughter seemed to prefer him. A few months later, and we warned him, his ex called him and talked him into moving back with her and giving the marriage another chance. He did and about a month later CPS came claiming he had abused not the little girl, but the little boy who was only three. Their evidence, a case worker asked the little boy if his stepfather had abused him and the child said "yeah." There was no evidence of this and the girl denied it ever happened. It didn't matter. With ZERO evidence and obvious setup he now is in serious trouble. This was all constructed by his ex but does CPS or the government care?!! This man has had his reputation destroyed. CPS needs to investigate those who file false allegations against someone and there needs to be some evidence. We hired him an attorney who still can't get access to any of the records. CPS can accuse you and then won't even show you your file unbelievable. To lady who posted beneath me. Yes, the government needs money that bad. The United States has gone from the best country in the world to ome of the most evil.

My husband recently was arrested for having a controlled substance(pain relievers-hydrocodone).My husband plainly stated that i knew nothing of this and still DCS came into my home and removed my children without giving me a drug test or anything!Still a week later i have been to numerous appointments with psychologists that have reported that im not a drug user.I have contacted my case worker asking her to give me a drug test,She said she would be here the the next day.....Im still waiting for my drug test!!!!!I AM NOT A DRUG USER AND WILL GLADLY URINATE IN FRONT OF ANYONE TO GET MY CHILDREN BACK!!!!If my husband went to jail and is no longer a problem then why take my children???DOES THE GOVERNMENT NEED MONEY SO BAD THAT THEY TEAR FAMILIES APART?!?!

I am soooo glad I found this petition. In some ways it has helped me realize there are other people who have been treated like they are not human but an evil and borderline illegal group of people called CPS. I made the mistake of doing everything they asked. I did parenting classes and a ton of other things and was told my child would return soon you name it. Three years later (and after a divorce) no child and multiple attorneys. I am going to likely file for bankruptcy. When CPS goes after you remember they have no intention of ever giving you the child back despite the fact many of them don't have kids themselves. In my case the child was sent to several psychologists. The first psychologist determined there was no evidence of abuse, so what do they do? The child gets sent to another psychologist (controlled by CPS) and has a different opinion because my seven year old stated that I once shoved my exhusband. What the idiot headshrinker failed to realize is I know exactly what my child is alluding too. You see it has a simple explanation. My ex and me used to playfully wrestle with one another. It was not violent all in good fun (we are still good friends) but because I had the audacity to give a playful shove to my ex that makes me violent and therefore I must be a child abuser in their eyes. I am counting the days when Bredesen is gone. Maybe someone who gives a (insert word) will take over. The United States has become the laughingstock of the world. I wish I could laugh.

I am in need of an attorney who can help me persue a civil suit against Clermont county Ohio. They terminated my parental rights more than 9 years ago. I always assumed that there was nothing that I could do, they had all the power. Well I am older now and a little more wiser. They stole my children 33 days after my husband put a gun in his mouth and blew his brains out. I was suffering from PTS and MDD. They did not care all they did was terminate my parental rights and lie about everything. My oldest son is a child with special needs he suffres from RAD, PTS, and ADHD. So instead of trying to get him into a stable environment they have institutionalized my child. I have had 2 more children since that the courts in KY found me more than fit to raise. They had no bases to remove my children in the first place other than I was sick from grief at the time, yet was not given the opprotunity to get treatment. My son’s psycologist told the court that the only one that they ever thought that he would bond with was me and the court did not care. My younger son, who I am in contact with, thanks to his adoptive father, lives with his adoptive mother. She recieved her foster license from Lifeway, yes the same place that gave Marcus Fiesel’s murderers their license, she had a conviction for welfare fraud and they never even did a background check on her. Since he has been in her care after her and my son’s adoptive father divorced. There has been numerous complaints on this woman. She has sent my child to school with karosene in his hair because she did not want to pay for heating and had him sleeping on the floor next to the heater. He broke his arm in football practice and it took her 5 days to take him to the doctor. CPS had to come to her home because after a year of calling them they decided to go check out why she had reversed his lock on his door to lock him in his room when he was 5 years old. There was never a question on whether or not my children were mistreated when they were with me, they had every other excuse. I wasn’t mentally stable, I didn’t have a place to live becasue I couldn’t stay at my home where my husband committed suicide. They stole my children and ruined their lives. They used a sickness that was beyond my control and never allowed me the opprotunity to get better. My family stepped up and asked for my children and had interstate home studies done and they were favorable, yet they were all placed up for adoption. I thought this was a family first state. I want to file a civil suit againt them, there is a lot more to this story and documentation to boot…someone please help me….no one wants to accept a court suit against a government agency, please someone tell me where I can turn! my email is becky.burch at hotmail.com

The Department of Childhating Services strikes again. Did everyone see the story where they took all the children of the woman who was attacked the other day. They take her kids and when it became national news all of a sudden they were forced to eat crow and return the kids. That is how you attack these criminals. You have to get a good attorney and take them to court. Because they have no laws or rules, they hate attorneys who force them to explain their actions. CPS needs to be eliminated all together.

State of TN scares me. I have live in the United States for 8 years. My husband is now deceased. My English is getting better but I still hard to understand. I write English better than I speak. In Korea we often told what a great country the US is. If I may be honest I do not see it. As single parent I live in fear that CPS will steel my kids for no reason. I have little money and do not entirely understand American culture. How does United States allow innocent people to not even see there records. I studyed constitution when I came to the US and was taught that was illegal. Am I confused? There are time I want to go back to Korea so I know my kids are safe. I fear CPS much more than I do a stranger taking my children. I have two friends who have lost kids but did nothing wrong. One is teacher in TN and very good man. Another is secretary and good woman. Both love kids yet kids are gone but they do not know what they did. This is wrong. Why is this allowed? I must say the United States is not what it seems. There is much evil in this land. CPS in TN (Davidson County in particular) has ripped apart my sisters family and from the posts here, they are good at doing so. The Case Manager involved in stealing her children away from them is so uneducated, her slang is so poor that we can't even understand her on the phone. I doubt she graduated from high school. He attire, a slinky tight mini skirt so small for her HUGE butt it showed her discusting pink panties when she sat down. She reaked of smoke, and although I do not smoke weed, I DO know what it smells like. Do they not do background checks and drug checks on these people?! The reason for the removal of all of my sisters children, according to this CPS investigator, was tht since she received an call, by "law" she had to come to the home. We now know that without a warrant, she is NOT allowed into the home. However, once in the home, she stated that since she had to come "all the way out here" something needed to be done. My sister and her husband just moved into TN for work purposes one week prior to the CPS investigator showing up. The children ages 5,6 and 8 had not yet been enrolled in school because they were having school records transferred and TN was requiring additional vacinations that they did not need in Texas. This also is a farse, in public school, you ARE NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE YOUR CHILDREN VACCINATED! The school will try to make you think you do, but state laws (everywhere I do believe) do NOT require it for pubic school enrollment. So, the children were removed for "Educational Neglect"! It has been months now and this case is still dripping and damaging the children who desprately want to return to their home and parents. The law also states that the parents have a right to a speedy trial. Three months is NOT speedy and even after trial, more DHS/CPS lies have surfaced about the poor behaviors of the children in the foster care...ah, well, what do you expect when you rip three children from their parents for no reason. They now want to put the children on meds to "make it easy" for the foster parents because they have too many children in the home already. To further complicate and damage these poor kids, as the foster home is "too crowded" they are looking into separating the children! This is an absolute disgrase and will certainly damage these kids for the rest of their lives. WHO CARES????????? NOT TENNESSEE! Once the CPS laws are reformed, TN has a responsibility to re-visit EACH AND EVERY case to find the truth and get damaging records straight. My sister now cannot teach as a result of this DHS record. She has been teaching for 20 years.

CPS is out of control. As others have stated never ever do what they ask. If they want to come after you they are going to do it anyway. My exhusband set me up because he didn't want to pay child support. Countless calls, put my three kids in therapy, you name it all because he didn't want to pay money. Heck, I don't even want his money and would have dropped child support just to keep him out of my life. Instead with his help, I have now gone two years without seeing my child. I have went through three attorneys and have yet to be heard in court.

Never let these people in your home and DO NOT COOPERATE, it gets you know where. The temptation is to do what they ask but the thing is after you complete their "plan", they are going to add more to it. That is how something that should take two months becomes two years or more. They are underhanded. If they come to your house be polite but stern and ask them if they have a warrant (they will not) Occasionally they will bring a police officer with them to intimidate (especially if they have been to your house before). It does not matter, no warrant, they can't enter! Remember when you let them in they are looking for ways to nail you. If a police officer does come by ask for a receipt of the allegations. Your civil rights entitle you to that. Most of the time they won't provide it because CPS shares information with very few people. Also if you are falsely accused and they take weeks or months to confront you about it, recognize that means the evidence is minimal and you need to fight it.

My name is Samatha. I have custody of my neice right now due to the incompetancies of CPS workers in the state of TN. My brother and his loving wife are the most caring people in the world, good christians and homeschool all of their children (thankfully!). The devistated economy has brought them to their knees...losing their home, lost cable and other what used to be "luxurys" a long time ago. The NEVER stopped loving any of their children, but CPS decided (with a little help from the neighbor that resents them because they cannot afford a lawn mower of all things...) thought that perhaps DHS/CPS in TN would take better care of the children. Only one was removed because it wasw the only mark on any of of the children they could find. My niece, is 7 years old. Where did she get the mark (very slight bruise)...who know, not even she can remember! She wants so badly to go home, and so do we. We thought by cooperating with DHS that she would return to her loving family after just a couple of weeks. Not so. It has been months. Court hearing after court hearing with NOTHING being "founded" or resolved and NOTHING by the state is even being done to bring this family back together. This is an outrage and a pathetic attempt to "protect" our families. Why are the nosy neighbors, and inexperienced teachers interciewed...or better yet, versed in the LAW before neing allowed to make such serios allegations! LORD HEAR US! (And for those who do not believe, or those who are doubting beliefs as a result of such a crooked and unjust way of our USA) We must stand strong and keep fighting. We WILL be heard!

I hugged my 8 year old goodby when I dropped her off at school one day. SOMEBODY at the school, thought that the HUG was too long and perceived it as sexual. I have not seen my duaghter in 8 months. What the hell is wrong with this system! I now have to pay child support to a stranger to raise my daughter, while I jusmp through Social Servies hoops going to parenting classes and individual counceling for being a sexual perpetrator even though I was not convicted of any wrong doing. When all these hoops are jumped through, the courts told me that she may never return to my care as a single dad. YOU STOLE MY ONLY LITTLE GIRL YOU PIECE OF CRAP! THANK YOU GOVERNMENT...HOW LONG WILL THIS GO ON???

This petition has brought tears to my eyes. My children are all grown thankfully, however a wonderful woman that I attend church with regularly has been falsy acussed of neglect by a 21 year old, first time 1st grade teacher. No marks, no bruses, just a flighty word from a 5 year old begun a war destroying this family. The depression of an already stressful economy and keeping gainful employment, while CPS ripped her baby away from her and her loving husband without interviewing the parents is horrifying. My research on the internet (in TN) states it to be illegal for a CPS investigator to interview a child at a public school without the parents knowledge. Yet they practice this on a daily basis...here in Davidson county anyway! Another poster has mentions "Parential Alienation". This is exactly what is happening to this family and many more...or all of them. God Bless all of you that are being treated like animals in this country that I was once proud of and fought for. This is wrong, and our government is sweeping it under the rug, WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL OF YOU, DEMAND REFORM AND DON'T STOP!

CPS is an absolute disgrace here in TN! They do NOT abide by out constitutional rights and are in violation of our 4th and 14th amendments everyday...as you can clearly see from the outcry of this petition that is exploding! I have not seen my son in 6 months now. The Judge has dropped all counts of negelect again us however because the state did follow the Judges orders to provide unification with our son, he is now a victon of "Parential Alianation". He is enrolled in a new elementary school, has new friends and does not want to move again however cries on the phone to come home. This is a little boy who in no way be able to handle such pressures as a result of a neighbor who thought she knew what was better for "Kyle" than we did. Please help spread this petition to EVERYONE you know, you never know which families have been affected directly or indirectly by this "Big Brother" mentality called our government. If you can homeschool your children, DO IT! Get government away from raising our children! These kids are our future, WE WILL DEPEND ON THEM! I know someone who used to work for CPS. According to her, when she started in the 90's, CPS actually was semi-effective but were considered a financial burden on government. Basically her comments were "CPS has already revamped. It was revamped from mediocre to criminal. But the government won't touch it with a ten foot pole." She said the smartest way to go is hire a private attorney (CPS hates them) and when they threaten you with criminal charges, etc call their bluff. The burden of proof is on them.

The older I get the more I realize the United States is for the most part just as corrupt as any other nation in the world when it comes to government. Don't fool yourself if you think otherwise.That being said I fully recognize the fact that most of CPS's kidnappings are money motivated.They don't care and the government sure as heck doesn't. What annoys me the most is the way CPS is allowed to destroy your life yet won't even tell you what the charges are or to see your own records. You have a constitutional right to face your accuser in this country and to be considered innocent until proven guilty. With CPS that is not the case at all, yet they are allowed to violate the constitution and no one seems to have a problem with that. CPS is a disgusting agency with the backing of the government. This country is quickly becoming the laughing stock of the world.

I have had to deal with cps and dcs....they are only out to get the money they earn off of taking kids into the system and getting the adopted out. there is no reason for some children to be taken out their homes. granted if there is real and severe abuse maybe but not for the reasons that they use now...
