Robert Garza Innocent of Murder

Dear Governor Perry and members of the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles.

We the undersigned are family members, friends, and supporters of Robert Garza.  Robert was convicted and sentenced to death under the Texas Law of Parties. Robert did not shoot anyone, he did not murder anyone, yet he has been sentenced to die. 

With that in mind, Mr. Perry and The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles we come to you in an effort to help save Robert from unjustly being put to death by the State of Texas for a murder he did not commit.  Convicted under the Law of Parties, Robert is innocent of Murder. Yet the people that committed the murders have yet to face charges for their actions.

Robert's jury was never give the opportunity to listen to any mitigating evidence that might have helped spare his life. We now ask you, Governor Perry and members of The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles to give Robert that opportunity and release him from Texas' death row.  Releasing Robert from death row will help show the respect you demonstrate for human life and justice in the state of Texas.
