The defeat of Russ Feingold as the fine, talented and experienced Senator from Wisconsin has saddened us. 

We think it is a brilliant idea to hire him as the your next Chief of Staff; in fact, we can think of no one finer to fill the position.

As citizens and as a concerned public, we ask that you give our suggestion serious thought.  A careful review of his qualifications should convince you to put his name at the top of your list for consideration as the permanent COS, Mr. President.
