This petition is a great leverage tool but I think that national teams and players need to start voicing their concerns. I am a football supporter who while wanting to separate politics from sports cannot stomach South Africa hosting the World Cup 2010. My reason is that the Cholera Outbreak in Zimbabwe which has spilled into South Africa and Mozambique is being ignored by the authorities of South Africa. If South Africa is going to ignore the Cholera Outbreak in Zimbabwe, it would be better to have the World Cup in Europe, North America, or Australia.
