We the undersigned have concerns about a new Skate Park which is being considered under high voltage power lines in Pemberton, BC. As skaters and families of skaters we know that young people spend numerous hours at skate parks. We share a common concern for their health. Both skaters and families travel to parks in their leisure time. The currently proposed site would effect our visits to your new park.

Skateparks don't belong under hydro lines! I've been skateboarder for over 20 years and the local skatepark has been meeting place, playground and an area to relax with the community skateboarders. To have a public park where many generations of kids will hang out and play under hydro lines is not acceptable. please think twice before you build a skatepark here.

Although I live in Whistler, my wife and I are considering purchasing a home in Pemberton. As an avid skateboarder that spends 30+hours a week at the skatepark, safety is important to me. And when we have kids, it will be even more important. Please consider relocating the skatepark.

I'm not a skater but as a grandmother of 5 wonderful kids, I feel we need to consider their safety. We do travel to skate parks on our holidays and won't be coming to Pemberton if its under high voltage lines. Please protect the kids.
