Sam was great filling in for Randi. He's fast, interesting, knowledgeable, and polite yet directs the callers and the show. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Sam that week. I would be a regular listener of Sam's show during the week if Sam were on. He taught me a lot. Jane Kircher

He redesigned the network website; he installed the Sammy-Cam at the main studios; he even did a remote from D.C. despite the fact he went to a confab there in the first place as a mere participant. What more do you want from the man--live shows during the Holy Days?

this has to happen, i dont know of anyone more capable than Sam to fill this time slot. i believe he was already done a terrible disservice to remove him from mornings. GO SAM GO !!!

Please put Sam Seder in Randi Rhodes' old spot. He deserves to be there. He has a very loyal fanbase and I'm sure that he could pick up new listeners as well. Give the man a chance!

I thoroughly enjoy Sam's show. I admire his wit, and his insightful commentary. He does his homework and is well-informed, and he treats call-ins with courtesy, even when disagreeing with them. He's a gem that AirAmerica should hold onto and promote. I'll miss Randi, but Sam's a great replacement for that slot.

Sam deserves a chance. he is a favorite of mine.
# 161:

Sam is a class act. He is funny, without being obscene. He is imformative without treating the audience like they are uninformed. He was the best host on Air America next to Al, who had years of experience in satire. I can't understand why he is so undervalued, except that the politics of A.A. must be fierce.
# 160:

Give sam a daily show or I'm gone.

I love Sam Seder. He and Mike Malloy are the greatest radio talk show hosts. You blew it with Malloy who went to Nova M. Now don't blow it with Sam Seder. Give him Randi's slot. I don't wanna hear Belzer or any other jackass celebrity. Seder is awesome. Everyone thinks so. Why the hell can't you idiots at AAR see that? Replacing Seder with Lionel was the height of stupidity. Now not giving him Randi's slot would be the final nail in the coffin of AAR. WE WANT SAM SEDER 5 DAYS A WEEK IF NOT ALL 7 DAYS A WEEK.

I have actively avoided the 3-6 slot since the early days of AAR because I couldn't stomach Randi. I will now listen religiously. While Randi was regularly incoherent, self-absorbed, rarely funny and gratuitously mean to non-liberals, Sam is always coherent, targeted, and cogent, very funny and creative, always cognizant of the larger cause, and only occasionally mean to non-liberals. I personally don't care about a host being funny, but know that it is essential to broaden the market for progressive radio. There are few if any better humorists in radio than Sam. AAR needs Sam in 3-6!! Lastly, Sam always keeps his faculties about him, and is unlikely to spew stupid, gratuitous inflammatory statements like Randi did regularly.

Sam Seder show is excellent. Brilliant grasp of the political landscape, great guests, and humor. He is one of the best on air anywhere. Be smart, put Sam on afternoons. He already has an audience.

I heart Sam. I hearted Sam as half of the Majority Repoort. I hearted Sam as the lone Majarity Reporter. I heart Seder on Sundays. When will AAR stop screwing around and give this guy a regular slot?!?

Sam is refreshing, always is a polite but firm responder the the righties that call in. He is fearless in dealing with these other folks and encourages them to call in. I adore his sense of humor and when he and Mark Maron get going together tis a RIOT! Please set up a regular weekday spot for Sam!

To be honest I was never fond of Randi Rhodes, but I thought Air America did itself a disservice in the way they handled the situation. Here they can at least make ammense for another of their lesser decisions and get Seder back on the air five days a week. Seder and Maddow seem like pretty good personalities to build the future of this network around.

Easily the most informative, energizing and entertaining show on weekdays - when it's on, during the weekday! Sam is on the cutting edge of the news and in touch with the netroots. His show needs to be a daily, rather than weekly event. (I like it better than the old Majority Report.)

I have been in heaven since Sam has been filling in for Randi Rhodes. I missed his weekly show and think they should definitely bring him back. He has a great stock of regular guests and delivers wisdom and wit better than anyone (except maybe Al Franken)

I think its high time that progressive radio has a strong secular progressive voice. Freedom of speech is not a value. it doesn't matter if what we says offends anyone. We should say it anyway. Free Inquiry was one of the only magazines that had the balls to print the Danish cartoon of allah and it was banned all over the country by stores all over the nation. Air America needs to take the example of that magazine.

Sam Seder is the most entertaining, funny, informative, intelligent, compassionate, and hard-working progressive talk radio host. Please put him on 5 days a week at AA. You will reap so many rewards for that one great decision. Sam Seder's future is so bright, why not let him shine at AA?

I am (currently) an Air America premium member. I fear this is the last chance for AAR. Right this ship. Hire Sam/Maron and give Rachel whatever she wants. Be patient and in you could have a ground swell that would make you the Daily Show of the radio waves.

# 120:

Sam is an exceptional talk radio personality: part political pundit, part social critic, part comedian, plus a totally decent human being. He's always passionate and engaging, never boring or boorish. He does top-notch interviews and can handle any callers, with a particular talent for engaging those of a "conservative" bent. He absolutely deserves to have his own full-time show!
# 119:
9:08 pm PDT, Apr 12, Merissa Lovett, Florida
Sam Seder is my favorite AAR host. Please give him the 3-6pm show. He is the only person who can take the goddess of radio's place! Sam is too talented to only have a weekend show.
# 118:
8:28 pm PDT, Apr 12, Rick Celand, Utah
Not much to say, except with two open slots (one formerly held by TYT and one formerly held by Randi)it seems hard to deny the Seder legions their due.

# 115:

Sam is smart, funny, hip and has integrity. He is in tunr with bloggers and the netroots. We need his voice daily on AAR, who frankly owes him. His loyalty is more than most would give.

# 113:

Sam Seder is smart, talented and interesting, a lot more so than Lionel, John Elliot or Mark Green. And Richard Greene is just plain boring. I don't think you can to do any better

i have always loved sam--from his early days w/janeane on AA. i've been enjoying listening to him lately as he has been filling in for thom hartmann and randi rhodes....who by the way is now on NovaM! that's where sam needs to be! mike malloy, marc maron, randi rhodes, sam seder, and rachel maddow are the real truthseekers!

# 109:
2:52 pm PDT, Apr 12, Amanda Granger, California
Sam Seder does the best radio hands down. If AA doesn't realize this well it doesn't say much about their future. Sam Seder should be given a 5 day a week time slot, end of story. As a "premium" member I'm gonna need to hear Sam on 5 days/week or I'll have no reason to continue my membership..none.
# 108:
2:52 pm PDT, Apr 12, Ken Bradburd, New York
Sam Seder is Air America's best host. It would be really dumb not to give him a full-time show.
# 107:
2:46 pm PDT, Apr 12, Michelle Zysk, Virginia
I love Sam Seder even though I'm a Hillary supporter. I only joined AAR to podcast Sam but when you cut him to Sundays I no longer had use for AAR. When there was a chance that he would replace Randi Rhodes, I had hope again...but now you're going to replace him with celebrities who don't know how to fill an hour let alone 3 hours. Who's making the decisions over there and do they know who their core listeners are or were? Wherever Sam ends up...I'll go. he's intelligent, funny and above all HUMAN...he connects with his listeners even when he doesn't agree with them. Who cares what Richard Belzer and Rosie think? They're personalities not radio people.
# 106:

Sam is my hero! Now is the time to give him back the daily slot he deserves.
# 105:
1:57 pm PDT, Apr 12, John Winchester, Colorado
Sam is the only reason I listen to AAR. He has been loyal all these years, and he deserves a own daily show.
# 104:
1:45 pm PDT, Apr 12, Name not displayed, Oregon
You have the chance now to correct a very foolish error which was made when you moved Sam Seder to Sundays. You have not one other host who comes close to Sam Seder. He is bright, informed, in tune and involved with the netroots, and also very very funny. If you can't see this, then there's no hope for the future of Air America Radio.
# 103:
1:43 pm PDT, Apr 12, Zac Barton, California
AAR shame on you. What goes around comes around and y'all better duck!
# 102:

It's long overdue- please give Sam back his daily time slot.
# 101:
1:10 pm PDT, Apr 12, Name not displayed, California
Sam Seder is funny, incisive, and smart. Give him a daily show, for goodness' sake. Air America, whither goest thou? The network started with a smart, cutting-edge schedule, and then the hacking-off began. Please--stop hacking off the branch when you're on the part that's going to fall.
