Appeal to save bears from captivity from Gornji Vakuf, Bistricka Rijeka Bound by the Shackles of Selfishness and Slavery There is nothing more natural than to see a bear catch fish with his paws, in the wild and his natural environment. But this case is everything else but natural. This is a case of a serious violation of animal rights in this case, bears. On the road to Prokosko jezero, close to Gornji Vakuf, Bistricka Rijeka, in a caf%uFFFD (Fahrijin Ribnjak), two small bears are kept chained on very short chains, one meter or meter and a half and these are almost growing into the coat, since these are not being adjusted by bears growth. This has to be very painful.
They are kept for entertainment for many guests; they catch fish from a tank. At the night they are kept in small cages, with very little space to move on. This stresses the animals even more. They serve as a cheap commercial trick and the terrible way to attract guests for the owner.
Brother of the two little bears are kept captive in a small primitive zoo with a Siberian wolf.
They can never be sent to nature again but we can and give them a chance for a worthy life and reproduction. We appeal to all that can help us, let us act before it is too late

I just came to know about the presence of Bears in Ribnjak cafe in Gornji Vakuf.
I'm shocked about your country using wild animals for entartainment! This is illegal, cruel and goes together with a lot of pain for the bears that cannot live a life they deserve - in freedom and according to their natural instincts and habits.
Bears are often poached illegally, the cubs get pierced through their nose, and a ring is inserted through their nose, and the rope is fed through the ring. This keeps the bear obedient, as resisting the rope's force is painful, and they are forced to obey. As far as I know Bears are on constant display leading to chronic stress that can rapidly reach unmanageable levels.
In the wild, bears live mostly solitary lives and rarely come into contact with each other in this way, they live in wide spaces and not at the end of a short chain: with such severe space restrictions it is extremely difficult for the bears to carry out a full range of species-typical behaviour.
I'm asking you to help end this cruelty now and forever. There is no reason for abusing animals - especially not for entertainment purposes. Please help teach people how to treat animals correctly and ensure that everyone who does not act according the law will be punished for that. That place must be shut down immediately and the bears sent to sanctuaries.
