These are the two dogs that they want to kill, please help me save them!

Save my dogs from the New Broward County Dangerous Dog Law

Everyone please help! My neighbors dog was in my yard aggravating my 2 dogs, while being provoked one of my dogs pushed the gate open ( which unfortunatly had not been properly relocked by my lawn maintenance company) and escaped. The two dogs began to fight in my yard, unfortunately the other dog, a Yorkie did not make it. I am at my wits end!!! They claim it was in thier yard when it was not. After seeing my dog escape I ran out and stopped the fight, my dog let go instantly however I have a Staffordshire terrier and she is 66 lbs and the other dog was very small. This was a horrible accident but with the new law they will put my dogs down since the neighbors can't seem to get their story straight. We are talking a matter of inches, now how can they kill them for a matter of inches. These are my kids and taking them away is wrong. I feel horrible about what happened and paid all the expenses for the vet in order to try and save the Yorkie's life. The neighbors have even claimed it was not our fault and the Animal Control has even said they are not dangerous but with the neighbors constantly changing their story my dogs still sit on DEATH ROW. Please help me save my dogs!!!

We were recently kicked out of our home for the breeds of dogs we own(Pit Bull, and a Chow Mix)We had lived there for 21/2 yrs. In that time we had two Chow Mixes and a Rottie. Not a word was ever said. Out of the blue we got kicked out. We now live in a 15ft. camp trailer behind a friends house. My Dogs Never had one Complaint. They are very socialized. What they did was wrong, and when they meet there maker and have to account for what they have done, remember this folks, You have an EVIL SOUL and the only home for you in the end, is in HELL!!!

Accidents happen all the time to pets, it just seems to make the news when it is a pit. Give these animals a chance, and have both owners be more responsible when loud barking begins....bring them in and maybe put up privacy fences. Stop the chance of something like this taking place again.

I am a certified animal cruelty investigator for almost ten years. I have dealt with almost every different breed of dog and I can say that the pit bull breed is not getting a fair shake. Everyone needs to get together and fight these city and state laws.

Pitbulls are excellent pets. Extremely loving, protective, and nurturing, they have been a huge part of my life. Punish the deed, not the breed!

This was clearly an accident, and I am saddened by the loss of the Yorkie. That being said, shame on New Broward County and their ignorant law and on the neighbors for changing their story. I support the Linnuste family 100%. Give them their companion animals back! It is the right thing to do.

This is just awful! While I feel badly for the little Yorkie and your neighbors, it doesn't warrant killing these dogs. Don't kill these dogs!

I'm sure if the dogs involved were not pit bulls , the authorities will have seen this as only an accident , but because irresponsible and stupid people pit bull have a bad rep , everytime there is an inccident involving a pit bull or any other breed like pit bulls they automatically blame it on the breed, PEOPLE STOP BEING SO IGNORANT, THERE IS NO BAD BREED ONLY BAD IRRESPONSIBLE OWNERS!!!!!!STOP BANNING AND KILLING ANIMALS ONLY BECAUSE OF THEIR BREED , WE DON'T JUDGE PEOPLE THAT WAY SO WHAT GIVES US THE RIGHT TO JUDGE ANIMALS ONLY BECAUSE OF THEIR BREED

Putting these two dogs down is wrong. These neighbors have to be held accountable as well. Their dog was not where it was supposed to be. You can't punish dogs for doing this when the dog entered their yard. The owner of these dogs has done her part by paying for the vet bills for the neighbors. Its not right or fair that they are not held accountable as well. Please do not destroy Caymen and Haley.

I DON'T THINK ITS FAIR THAT 2 DOGS WILL BE PUT TO SLEEP FOR SOMETHING THAT IT WASNT THEIR FAULT, IF THE NEIGHBORS HAVE CHANGE THEIR STORY A FEW TIMES ALREADY THE COUNTY MUST KNOW THAT THEY HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT THEY ARE SAYING OR THEY ARE JUST LYING , AND THOSE DOGS SHOULDN'T BE PUT TO SLEEP IF THEY HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS IN THE PAST

This is a tragedy to say the least. Please look at the facts in this case and remember that these dogs have a loving family to return to.

# 634:

Was the neighbor not keeping an eye on her little dog? I do not think this family should be seperated because of an accident. It is very sad what happen to the yorkie but the lady paid for the damages. Would you put any other breed to sleep if it hurt or killed the yorkie or is it since it is a bully breed you just think that would be the best bet.

This was an accident and not on purpose. have some mercy and dignity. It is sad that this kind of thing did happen, we must also understand that a person left the gate open and this person have the intellect, now the dogs have to suffer which is not fair.

Two of our family members are American Bulldogs. I take every precaution also to keep something like this from happening to our dogs.Let this serve as a lesson to small dog owners of their responsibilty, This little Yorkie paid for their owners ignorance.Enough death has happened form this accident. Let the dog go home!!!
# 622:
4:52 pm PST, Nov 14, Teresa McGill, Idaho
People that have little dogs should have to take responsibilty also. People that have little dogs need to protect them as we have to protect ours. It is ashame that large breeds like the staffordshire get a bad rap only because some ignorant dog owner didn't keep their small dog in their own yards. Dogs are not at fault only their owners.

These dangerous dog laws HAVE TO STOP!!!!! They are not productive, they are only hateful, unfair, unjust and discriminatory! The old laws worked just fine. We coddle serial killers and murder dogs. Serial killers KNOW the laws, dogs don't!

Its not fair to kill her dogs just because of what the neigbours are saying...there are two sides to every story. Putting a dog down is a serious thing, and this situation that povocked this should be looked into. Life is precious and shouldnt be mindlessly taken away. I hope some sort of investigation is made, and you come to your senses.

These dogs were only protecting their territory. Let them be. It is a shame about the Yorkie. We are the ones who ask them to protect our territory and make it theirs. How can we punish them for doing what we ask of them.
# 612:
6:24 am PST, Nov 14, Ayana John, Barbados
Release these dogs! Life deals us some heavy blows but this incident is not their fault. Dogs are territorial. The Yorkie encroached on their territory. They did what dogs do. The defended their territory.

After looking at your laws, I have come to the conclusion that: A) The neighbors dog was considered at large because it was not properly restrained on it's owners property & was able to come onto the Linnuste's property. B) The Linnuste's dog was in fact provoked by the neighbors dog before the incident occurred. C) Then the at large neighbors dog entered the Linnuste's property D) The Linnuste's dog then defended itself from the at large neighbors dog that had been provoking it. Conclusion, The Linnuste's dog did what a normal dog would do when another aggressive dog comes into its territory - it defends it by fighting the other dog. Their dog did nothing wrong according to your statutues. Please reconsider & let them have their dog back.

Unfortunately this dog was provoked by a smaller dog with agression issues. Please reconsider putting these dogs down, to you they might just be dogs but to their owner they are family. This is clearly an unfortunate incident. Both dogs need to be spared for the owner loves them and has paid all vet fees. Please save her babies.....
