I was down memphis way the week-end. I was expecting to be able to listen to air america on 680am, and came to find out, that now it is a right-wing station. I heard a Hannity sound bite, talking about how the dems can't manage anything, and that air america is doing broke. Please update me. Has 680 changed? You all have got to hit the neo's with The Word of God. They all claim to be christians, but do and act otherwide. Matthew 15:8, "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me their lips, but their heart is far from me." Proverbs 29:2, "when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." We are truly mouring because of them. Because of the neo's and their lies; if the over 3800 flag-draped coffins from Iraq were lined up end to end, there would be a line of flag draped coffins about six (6) miles long. And this is all because of the lies that were told, to get the war going. Galatians 6:7, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." Fascism destroys the separation of corporate power & govt power. It%u2019s what we get when greedy CEOs decide what we can or can%u2019t do. (I now hear Mike Malloy, Thom Hartmann, et al. on NOVA M, 1480 KPHX, via the Internet.) - See how gradually the corporatists are taking over our information, our govt, & our lives (sacrificed to a death-profiteers%u2019 war of choice)? If we don%u2019t object to the first %u201Clittle%u201D changes, then everything will be taken away. Here%u2019s a relevant quote from %u201CThey Thought They Were Free %u2013 The Germans, 1933-45%u201D by Milton Mayer: "What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, little by little, to being governed by surprise; to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if the people could not understand it, it could not be released because of national security.%u201D WSMB is now part of the problem. I%u2019d hoped for truly progressive talk radio in Memphis, but fascists love Money, not America. It looks like the only peaceful solution left to regain our balanced (non-fascist) system of govt & our access to truth is to have a general strike of at least 3 days: no work, no school, no buying anything, no using the media or utilities grid - & to repeat it until they understand. The 11th, 12th, & 13th of each month seem appropriate, because corporate-fascists made a LOT of money from Sept. 11th & are still making BILLIONS from the suffering & death caused by their war on Iraq.
