Save "Pumpkin"

Pumpkin is a beautiful brown female dog who has been wandering "Mill Hill" area of Albemarle, NC for approximately six months now.  There were two dogs originally, a male, which has since disappeared.  These dogs were alledgedly put out of a car on Ash Street. I have been feeding and trying to provide safe shelter for them since they appeared. At first no one could get near them as they seemed so afraid of people, one can only imagine why.  They were never aggressive or threatening to me or anyone. In fact they would run from anyone. Now it is only the little female left and I have started calling her Pumpkin.  She is getting use to me and my two dogs and will let me pet her and play. I am currently having my yard fenced in so I can contain her, get her sedated, and to a Vet for spaying and shots.

Animal Control is taking me to court, since I took responsibility for her, to get her and put her to sleep.  That is what I have been told today, Feb. 15th 2012.  My yard will be completed no later than Monday the 20th.

I am asking my neighbors to sign this petition for me to take to court to show the Judge that she is not a mean dog as far as anyone has witnessed and to give her a chance to live.

PLEASE SAVE PUMPKIN, she has come so far and now feels as if she is a part of my family.
