Save Santorini - Salvage Sea Diamond, the toxic depth bomb in Santorini

Save Santorini - Salvage Sea Diamond, the toxic depth bomb in Santorini

Target:
Sea Diamond's Ship-owner
Sponsored by:
The Sea Diamond is truly a toxic depth bomb into the sea of Santorini.
The major problem that Santorini encounters in the field of environmental pollution is the sunken ship (since April 2007) Sea Diamond, which is still at the bottom of caldera, near the port of Athenios.
In the event that the wreck is not salvaged immediately, the pollution will be enormous due to the corruption of the materials.
Apart from the diesel pollution, there are serious risks for the health of people and organisms, not only in the Aegean Sea, but in the major area of the Mediterranean seas.

It's unbeleivable that the owners of this vessel aren't liable for the removal of the vessel from the caldera. As a Greek citizen, I find it appalling that our government doesn't do something to save this precious eco-system. Shame on you Greece.

Keep on fighting to get the Sea Diamond away from caldera. I was informed at the concert of you at the concert of Galani-Arvanitaki. It is ashamed that noboby from politics do something to avoid any risks for the island.

The ship owner company should know their responsibility in the sea diamond situation,it is unacceptable that the owner company of sea diamond will purchase a new ship to replace sea diamond. Their intention is to operate the Sea Diamond route(including Santorini, the place where Sea Diamond is resting)with their new ship.It is unacceptable that the ship owner does nothing to the wreck of Sea Diamond before they purchase their new ship.
