Save Stoner Skate Plaza Early Session

Stoner Skate Plaza in West LA is easily one of the best designed plazas in the area.  Click here for photos.  Open for almost a year, it has been host to many professional and amateur skaters, giving them a superb training ground to perfect their skills.
Unfortunately, not everyone in the neighborhood is as excited as the skaters.  There have been complaints and now the gates are starting to be locked and unreasonable hours trying to be enforced.
The skater community, so far has gone unheard, and we need to change that.  We need to get organized and go to the community meetings and let them know that there are a lot of grown men and women that enjoy using this facility, and to have the hours cut, is unfair and severely limits the accessibility of the park.
I personally have been skating for over 20 years and thoroughly enjoy Stoner Plaza and would often go for early sessions before work.  Often times I would see young parents there with their children helping them learn in the safer less crowded environment of the early session.   Now they have no choice but to take their children to the park later and hope they don't get hurt in the crowds.
There is commonly, road construction, landscaping, and other noises that come from living in a city.  The fact that some people in the area just don't like skateboards is unjust.
We need to get together to show the community we can organize and fight for whats ours.
