The Amazon is a bueatiful and vast rainforest, but it won't be that way for long. Construction is destroying the rainforest at a very fast rate. So fast that every six seconds an area the size of a football field is lost!! Only we can stop it. Do you want a bueatiful world or a world with no bueaty and cool creatures. I want to save the Amazon because it is a bueatiful forest with many awesome animals. If we don't save our rainforests the animals and bueaty will be lost. :-( Please sign my petition and save the rainforest )-:

We the undersigned wish that the Amazon Rainforest stayed and is not to be destroyed! The Amazon is full of bueaty and abundant life. If the rainforest is destroyed we will lose the bueaty and the animals that live there. Most of the animals that live in the Amazon can't be found anywhere else (except zoos of course). We need to preserve this wildlife. Maybe create a few preserves if we have to! We the undersigned are determined and will not give up in the fight to save our world's bueatiful rainforest! To save the rainforest would mean the world to all those determined signers of this petition. Save the Amazon! Please sign this petition!

Dear Grown-ups. My name is Kricket and I'm five. My mom is helping me write this, but I'm telling her what to say because I'm old enough and I know stuff. I'm very worried because the rainforests are being burned down here in Bolivia where I live. I love animals and the rainforest and I think there aren't going to be any left by the time I'm grown up and that's a problem because I'm planning to be an animal scientist, and not just any animal scientist, I want to study spectacled bears and jaguars but I think they might be extinct when I'm really old like you, so can you guys please do something about this problem? The other day I couldn't go to school because there was too much smoke in the air and I have enraged (sic) adenoids.
I think you guys should be an example to kids like me - it can't be possible that little kids are doing something to teach other kids about how important the rainforest is and you're not. I have a web page and I tell kids all about important stuff and the rainforest and the Amazon where I live, so why can't you? You can see it if you want to so you can see who I am and what I've done so far: www.boliviabella.com/rainforest.html Anyway, I hope you'll read this letter. I know you probably get zillions. My mom said you might be able to help us even though we're far away because we're Americans like you. Thanks.

The Amazon must be preserved at all costs as it functions as the 'lungs of the world'.
The Prez of Brazil said that he didn't consider the rainforest to be a sanctuary - maybe he should get a different job...The plant and anmal species which will be gone forever if the Amazon is lost is something that we cannot even begin to speculate.God alone knows what cures for what diseases may still be discovered there if we can win the battle to save the Rainforest. What are we doing about the dam at Belo Monte?

I DO BELIEVE THAT THE MAJORITY OF THE WORLDS ILLNESSES CAN POSSIBLY BE CURED BY NATURAL PRODUCTS FOUND IN THE RAINFOREST AND BY DESTROYING THIS BBEAUTIFUL AND BOUNTIFUL AREA OF OUR EARTH WE ARE DOOMING COUNTLESS NUMBERS OF HUMANITY TO SUFFER FROM DISEASES THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN CURED- I ENTREAT YOU TO NOT ONLY SAVE THE RAINFORESTS BUT TO SAVOR THEM--THANK YOU

Stop destroying the Rainforest because we will end up destroying ourselves.

The Amazon shouldn't be destroyed because it is a beautiful and necessary part of our planet. We would suffer greatly without it's wonderful and abundant diversity of life.
