Leatherback Turtles have got to be one of the most anstonashing, amazing, immense, fantastic and beuatiful creatures I have ever seen. They have lived for over 100 million years so, therefore, deserve to live.
Would you really want to be involved in the cruel acts going on?
They are being;
Slaughtered for hand bags and other leather products
Killed for food and medicines
Srtangled
Cuaght in nets
killed in collisions with boats
and the list goes on.
Would you really want to see these poor animals suffer.

Dear Mr Cameron,
We are a group of Year 7 pupils from Bury Church of England High School and we are very worried about the future of the Leatherback Sea Turtle poulation in the world, so we thought we would write to you to tell you about it.
Leatherback Turtles have been alive for over 100 million years meaning they were on the planet when dinosaurs roamed. Today they are in danger of becoming exstinct through no fault of their own. In the early 20th century there were over 115000 Leatherback Turtles in the wild, now only 30000 remain.
Humans are responsible for them becoming endangered so we are also able to put a stop to the cruelty right now!
They are being;
Stangled
Skinned alive for leather products such as wallets, shoes and hand bags.
Adult turtles are being killed for medicines and other commercial products.
Nesting Sites are being disturbed by tourists and for building work.
Their eggs are taken by poachers for food
and finally they are being killed in collisions with boats.
We are hoping that you can help raise awareness and put a stop to this.
Leatherback Turtles do not deserve to die, they are fascinating vulnerable animals that do no harm to humans - in fact they feed on Jellyfish, which are killing our fish population that we feed on. So the Leatherback turtles are preventing our fish population from dying out. They are an important part of the food chain.
What right have we to kill these extraordinary creatures which do no harm to us? Our stupid and careless mistakes are contibuting to the loss of many innocent lives.
You are a powerful man so we hope you can make a change to this.
