Over development at the Maurice River Township lake and bridge has killed-off the population of NJ Northern Pine Swifts in the region.Encroachment has cleared the land of vital NJ pine forests necessarry for the lizards survival.The aquaduct and bridge has been breached and altered under new contruction where I would often find the lizards.From 1997-2005 I was part of a catch count and release program sponsored by Parvin State Park and the State of New Jersey.Please sign this petition if you love animals and farmland.
